A BF3 gamemode would be awesome. We could have our own soldiers start out as Pvt., do things to rank up (Not LOLKILLTORANKUPCODSTYLE) like working on humvees etc.

Arma 2 is almost built for propper online RP. It would be a good addition to the servers list.

Im in. I have been in ARMA clans and I know my stuff and other tatical gamemodes. I could help out a lot if you let me do some stuff, maybe we could have a CQB SWAT like ARMA clan where our combat focuses on CQB or Special Operations. (I have been in 7th Cavalary, TAW (SWAT 4), Raven Shield clans, and almost was in this British Armed Forces clan which looked awesome but didn't join cause I forgot about the clan some time ago.)

Did anybody ever play Army rolelay which was based on HL2RP schema with of course the openaura base, it can be done I have seen it done it is just extremely hard to play and gets boring.look below for why

Cons:
1.Rank progression: The server I played with this type of mode took forever to get promoted.(I was very active for 3 weeks and never was once looked upon for promotion and many of the higher ups were offline)

2.Combat: Too many butthurt kids ( it was basically the spetsnaz versus the U.S army). a lot of the combat would have to be stalemates or agreed upon firefights like HL2RP).

3.Playerbase: Basically rank progression, if there isn't a drill seargent training people all the time people will get bored and not play. I waited for a long time for a Drill Seargent to get on I almost quit because of it.

Pros:
1. A new gamemode:If we do this gamemode and do it right it will be a huge success, we may have it filled all the time with many events and different large scale firefights at a time and even usher in combat  with tanks, bombs, airplanes, and helicopters. I think it will be a nice addition IF DONE RIGHT.

2. A new atmosphere: People will see this and will most likely join bringing new members.


Well that's my experience with it if it gets done it will be fun and the community will enjoy it. I will try to post the map I played it on and you guys can have fun with that, I would like to see it done again it can be done right through CG for sure.

The amazing thing about Arma II is the atmosphere imo, if your in the back of a chopper with a platoon of your mates, talking on voice, or looking around at it all, its just surreal.

Its the best team based game imo
