Happy Independence Day to all of my fellow Americans! 238 years ago today one of the most important documents of our country was signed, The Declaration of Independence, which officially declared independence from the United Kingdom. 

To all who have or currently are in the armed forces: Thank you. Thank you for protecting everything we have. You are the true heroes of this country.

Our country has had it's ups and downs. Our government has been becoming worse and worse, but don't let that ruin your pride. Don't let the government be the face of your country, that's not what it's there for.

I hope everyone has a great time celebrating. I'll be spending most of my day at work, unfortunately.

The restaurant I work at is open today   And I have to work    Still, unless we get flooded by a bunch of lonely seniors, I'm sure I'll get out early enough to watch the fireworks
