Losing ammo on weapon holster

What happened when the bug occurred? Ammo loaded in the clip is lost when weapon is holstered.

What was supposed to happen? Ammo should've been kept inside the gun or returned to my inventory

I suggest you take the current weapon ammo amount and just add that to the amount in your inventory, I lost too much ammo to this.

This isn't a bug, this is suppose to happen from what I've heard.

Just make sure to press C to unload your gun before holstering it.

I don't think you should lose ammo like this though, too many times I've pressed alt to move slower and forget I have ammo in it.

If you accidentally hit alt, just pull your weapon away for the time it takes to holster. If you don't have the weapon out when the time is up, it won't holster it.
