The Outlands' Inn (Downtime Roleplay Thread)

Scruffy stirs in the bed, the only thing keeping this is the withdrawl from whatever he snorted. Beans is still in the Inn lobby, drinking beer slowly to pass the time.

Thomas walks in to the inn lobby trying to rub off a yellow stain on his jacket. and looks at beans.

Hey redneck, How the fuck do you clean bug guts from denim?

She relaxes a bit knowing Keiji is doing well enough to sit and talk.

"Overnight. You recovered well though. Might wanna change your pants when you get up though. How are you feeling?"

Beans slowly turns on his seat.

How the fuck am I supposed to know? In case you haven't scraped the shit outta yer eyes, not too many people around here have clean clothes.

He leans against the bar on his stool.

Try the waterfall or something, someone oughtta have those rolling cleaning things. Washboards or whatever.

Keiji exhales again, stretching.

"Better, I guess...just a bit groggy's, all. It'd do me good to take a walk, I needa stop off at my workshop anyways."

Violet's smile fades a bit, knowing this man has the state of mind to do what needs to be done, no matter the circumstances.

"Alright. Well just take it easy for now. Take a walk around the inn, see how you feel."

Keiji continues to push himself, quickly standing and heading towards the staircase, limping heavily and moving slowly along the way. He then begins to quietly speak to himself:

"C'mon...just a quick 2 minute walk. Don't be such a pussy..."

Violet watches Keiji get up and move across the room. She examines his movements for any signs that he should probably not venture beyond the walls of the inn. Satisfied, she leans back in her chair by the window, returning to her soft playing of the harmonica.

Scruffy sits up slowly and tiredly, rubbing his eyes.

I'm 'kay to walk, right?... Just my arm that got hurt...

Keiji manages himself outside the Inn, stretching his legs and shaking them a bit. His pace begins to quicken more and his walking becomes more steady. His left arm, however, is still in a great deal of pain.

Violet looks over to Scruffy, surprised by his sudden awakeness.

"Well. How are you feeling? Any dizziness, nausea, vision problems? Unbearable pains even?"

[Kevin]

Scruffy shakes his head, standing up slowly.

"Guys, Does a Vortigaunt can help us in any way?"

The vortigaunt lowers his head for a moment, as if in consideration. He looks back up at the human, coughing into his claw before speaking. "This ones vortessence is weaker then that of my kin, this one shall attempt to assist." His eyes blink at random intervals again as he watches the human.
