IC Character Name: Cindy Whitmore
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.Cindy was just like the normal City 45 citizen. She would wake up, (Most of the time she would not sleep from raids, lock-downs, ect.) eat a leftover ration, sit outside and watch life go past. Basically the lather, rinse, repeat routine. After she had seen the raids, lock-downs, fights, and sometimes killing for a few weeks she was a spectator of the events. This did not bother her for a short time. After a short time it climaxed and it began to annoy her.
After a while it got tiring, she began to watch out her apartment window at the raiding, fighting, and shooting. She got tired of it, she didn't have much heart for some of the CP's but she had to deal with it. As long as she was alive she had to take the 'Civil Protection' for granite. As long as the Civil Protection kept her alive. Though it still annoyed her, it annoyed her deeply. The searing annoyance had gotten to Cindy and she had fell prey to the Combine.
One day she was walking into a shop and tripped a rebel that was running out of the store. The CP got there in time to get the rebel or as they called them anti-citizens on the ground. The officer granted her a point. Cindy was questionable and she asked what these points do. He explained it to her and she started off to get 4 more of these points. She eventually got 4 more points and she thought back on if she should become apart of the Civil Protection or not. She was only told the good part about being a CP so without thinking twice about the consequences she started off to make an application to join the CCA. She got some facts on the Combine and the Combine history in hope to be accepted.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)Pure- She will always follow orders and make sure they are carried out.
Cooperative- She will successfully work with any teammate without complaining.
Trustworthy- She is to sure carry out orders and make sure they are done correct.
Brave- She will push her fears away from a fight till she is successful.
Lawful- She will always make sure she does her job but also follow the rules.
Polite- She will respect her higher command.
Obedient- She will follow the rules and listen to objectives without complaining.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character. I expect the CCA to be a fun/scary role in Role Playing. I expect it to be hard (That's because I lag sometimes) and a adventerous experience. I expect it to be exciting, it will definitely be a memorial achievements in Role Playing. I also expect the CCA training a lot different from regular citizen activities.
For Cindy she expects the CCA to be fun and beneficial. But what she hasn't realized is that it will be hard for her. All the way from training to her ending she will have to endure hard assignments. The CCA wont be as easy as a cake walk for her. The only thing she expects hard is patrolling and multitasking, also raids.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words. -CHILDHOOD-
Cindy Whitmore was 5 when she got into kindergarten, she was so smart they made Cindy skip to kindergarten. Cindy was fascinated with books and machinery. She had read 4 learn-to-read book by herself when she was 2. By the time Cindy was 4 she had a huge vocabulary and vast knowledge about machinery and nature. Cindy was a very smart kid. Her parents were constantly bragging about Cindy and her smarts. About the age 11 she was in middle school and was repeatedly getting A+'s on each report card. When she turned 13 her mother had died from brain tumor, medulloblastoma.
-TEENAGE'HOOD'-
By the time Cindy was 16 and she was still very smart but also she was stronger and braver. Her first fight was when she was 17, she was walking through the outside basketball court and bumped into another girl. The girl fell and went ballistic on one little scratch. As the two teens fought the loud heel clamps came around the corner, both battle-worn teens had encountered the principal in front of them. For the first time Cindy had brought shame upon the family. Cindy was suspended, each day Cindy was suspension went by, Cindy would sneak out of her room and talk to her friends through the gate surrounding the 'court' yard. The fight was brutal so only a mere couple of cameras were placed around the school. Her dad got really mad when he found out about her sneaking out and put a taking device on her back. He also set it to were if she got to far from him it would shack her. Cindy was in deep trouble, her grades had also fallen to a B-.
-ADULT'HOOD'-
Cindy Whitmore was now 21, as time went on Cindy was knocked out with a piece of rubble beside her head. There was a portal storm, Cindy was looking up at a lamp and the lamp had fallen from the portal storm. Cindy had fallen over from the huge push on her body. The whole building shook with it, but since she was in searing pain she thought it was a mortar. Cindy was scared, she heard rebels and anti citizens fighting a war out there. A clock was still intact, she looked at it and it had been 3 hours since this war had started. She looked outside the window and she saw shooting happening all over the place. All of a sudden the building had collapsed. Cindy ran out and fell from another push on her body. She was trying to get up and a rebel had pushed her down, she collapsed and as she was blacking out another lighter portal storm came and had no big effect, she saw it but didn't remember it. There was a cut/lump on her head. As the 7 Hour War raged on Cindy was out cold. It was a long time before she woke up. She was surrounded by masked men named Civil Protection, they gave her a blue jumpsuit, a CID number, and an escort to a train. As she was being transported to City 45 she wondered what it looked like and how long was she out. She got off the train and headed to get a ration after they were greeted by a man on the Nexus screen. She looked around, scanners were floating and Combine were holding stun-sticks. Cindy was probably the utmost confused/scared person there.
-7 HOUR WAR-
Cindy was running down a hallway confused, she was escaping a falling building. She was running out until she had tripped. She couldn't get up because there were so many people running over her. As she was getting up a piece of rubble had hit her head and she got knocked out. She woke up and heard gun shots and screams. She looked down and she noticed she was being dragged away. Her head was bleeding, but it wasn't severe. She looked up and saw that a masked man was dragging her. She looked down and blacked out. She woke up on a bed and was surrounded by other masked men. They had stitched the wound on her head. Then they knocked her back out with some medication and transported her back to the 'rally point'.
-PRESENT-
Cindy Whitmore arrived at City 45. She walked past the masked men watching her. She quickly got out, got an apartment, and pieced back her thoughts one by one. As she finished a broadcast came on with a lady's voice that announced rations. Cindy got her rations and when everyone was in front of the Nexus, a huge building that was made by the combine, the black screen on the nexus had shown a man. The man had greeted everyone. Once it was over everyone went on with their normal lives. The robot looking masked men searched some people for reasons Cindy couldn't understand and some were taken into the Nexus. After a while Cindy slept, woke up, and repeated the same routine. Cindy always saw/heard someone getting detained or killed.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?I remember playing Outlands and I spotted a scanner so we kept shoot/throwing rocks at it. Finally it went down after some time. Afterwards we took it back to Belles Town to inspect to inside of it. Someone eventually took it apart and gave peices to people. It was a pretty badass moment in my opinion.
