[SUGGESTION] Power Outage

Everyone knows that buildings need power to operate. What some people fail to notice however, is that all power for pretty much everything in P1 is supplied by the nexus. I suggest an event where something like a really bad storm hits, and disables the nexus power for a few hours, thus disabling power for most of City 45 as well.

Indeed, a power outage would be a very interesting event and promote some passive.

This event has been done a few times. I do agree it would provide some passive and such.
Take into understanding that the Nexus would be off, meaning that no doors are operable. If power goes out and you are there you are stuck unless some augmented unit comes along and lifts the door for you.

This sounds quite interesting, I haven't really participated in an event like this so what is it about it that's criticized?

//Although it's overdone, I'd rather see this than fucking invasions. Those events suck so bad. There's no RP, it's just like DarkRP "boom boom boom i haz gun i shoot." Then no one PainRPs. That antlion/zombie/headcrab/whatever invasion the other day was horrible.

I just made this because I'd like to see the events toned down a bit. I mean, from what I've seen the past few events were just a hunter-chopper getting blown up, and a few explosions. I like events that have a little more time put into them, and are more interesting than just a few explosions.

Personally I've never seen this happen, it sounds quite fun but its a bit hard to immerse yourself into because OOCly everything is still running.

It would be much easier to do this event now, considering the recent change to a much more awesome night map.

I for one agree with this. With the night map, if a power outage were to occur it would cause more confusion and panic thanks to it already being dark outside. With the only sources of light out, people would get lost in the dark enviroment. It would require people to perhaps group up with people that have flashlights, or perhaps a bit of a panic/riot could happen.
