Make Apartments Free!

Hello, this is more of a discussion thread than a suggestion, but you can move it if you like.
I think that apartments should be free.
Reasons:
1. In the canon, people are assigned to apartments, they don't pay for them.
2. When you disconnect, you lose your apartment. This causes you to lose all of your money from roleplaying correctly.
3. What about when people have no money? Then they cannot buy an apartment, causing the CCAs to get mad at them, but the CCAs should assign him an apartment in the canon.
And another lesser solution would be to make it so doors stay bought until someone else buys them. The doors owned by disconnected players would say "Disconnected" on them. You could buy those only if the apartment building was full.
Oh, and there would be a limit of one door, of course.

But regarding the main subject: I really agree with your statement about losing doors when you disconnect. Something should be done to make door ownership more permanent. Either that or distribute rations more frequently to make up for wasted tokens.

We don't distribute rations as much because every time we are on there is always you guys going RATIONS PLX GIEF RATIONS,which annoys us and makes us add time onto giving rations. If you guys didn't ask,we would distribute them more frequently. Half the time we are usually doing other important stuff too.

Yeah. If one citizen goes "omg wen r rashunns gunna b ^?". I deduct 5 rations. So I think the rooms should be free, since I'm constantly getting asked for rations and deducting them.

It sounds like an okay idea. Tired of citizens going "Sir, when are rations?" +5 minutes.

Maybe more tokens should be added to rations to make up for money wasted on buying doors.

Then why bother wasting the money in the first place? And of people are fighting over apartments, then 1. There is a limit of one apartment per citizen; 2. If it is OOC, then just tell them that bitching about apartments in OOC is not allowed and 3. If the fighting is IC, then the combine will just detain and punish them for fighting.

Any way, yes, before I joined the CCA I lost a lot of tokens on appartments. I agree totaly.

Given that citizens would be issue a CCH Apartment, I think CCA Officers should be issued with a set of "Apartment Permits". OR these could be issued in rations.

Basically, an Apartment Permit allows a citizen to buy an apartment.

When I was a citizen I used to hate not being able to get into an apartment because some other person would have bought the door and wouldn't even be in it. All of the CCH doors would be owned and vacant. It pissed me off. I agree, doors should be free.
