You have no idea how much I hate that word.
Elitism: The attitude or behavior of a person or group who regard themselves as belonging to an elite.
If you bought VIP, Gold or Diamond member then yes, you DO belong to an elite because it puts you at a higher place than others. You have more privileges and abilities, that IS an elite. People use the word "elitist" synonymously with "arrogant." Please, in the future, don't mix up the words.
