Yesterday at around 17:30 I was involved in a traffic collision on my scooter. A woman didn't look before pulling out and I impacted with the side of her car, went over her bonnet and hit the road head first.
Luckily I was wearing a helmet so that took 90% of the impact. I can tell you this was one of the most terrifying events to happen to me to date.
I was laid in the middle of the road for a good ten seconds until a nice man came up and helped me up and asked if I needed an ambulance and graciously helped me pick my scooter up out of the middle of the road. I found it strange how I was so concerned with the driver that made the mistake. I wasn't really bothered about myself but I felt an enormous need to comfort her and make her know I didn't blame her even though she was the one at fault. I even gave her a hug to reassure her and let her know I held no bad feelings towards her.
The thing that pissed me off the most was not the fact that I was in pain, my scooter and helmet were damaged and I was in shock or even that the woman was shaken, but the fact that some fucking CUNTS were beeping their horns at the man that helped me up because he had obviously jumped out of his car and left it the middle of the road when he helped me.
They had just seen me smash into the side of a car and land in the middle of the road, but all they gave a shit about was the mans car. It makes you wonder about human beings today. ONE man out of the many people that saw it happen helped me and they beeped their horns at him.
A friend of my fathers gave me some gloves a few weeks back and said: "This is for when you do come off, and you WILL come off". Just after the crash those words rang through my head and I was very grateful to him.
After thinking over the situation MANY times in my head, thinking if I could have done anything more to prevent it and what could have easily been the end of my life, I am still drawn more to the heartless bastards that couldn't give a shit about me or the woman.
I have some advice for any riders out there: Wear high-visibility clothing and ride as defensively as you possibly can.
And some advice to drivers: LOOK FOR FUCKING RIDERS! YOU DO NOT OWN THE ROAD!

So, if you could pick any super power what would it be? For the sake of this thread, you can ONLY pick one power.
The reason this is in GD is because I want you to discuss WHY you would choose that power. I really want you to think about this and not just put some bullshit like: "LOL I'D USE INVISIBILITY TO RAPE WIMIN! LOL". It has to be a serious answer because jut imagine what you could do with a super power in today's world!
Personally I would choose the ability to stop time. Reason being is because you could manipulate ANY situation you encounter. If you're about to be robbed, you can stop time and leg it. Or you could go find the largest, sharpest object you could find, put it over the prick's head and restart time... ^_^
EDIT: Also, don't pick a power that gives you more powers. Lame ¬_¬

This started out of the blue a few weeks ago and it is getting on my last FUCKING nerve. BFBC2 lags like a prick, Gmod lags like a prick, GTA IV lags like a prick etc...
I've always lagged a little but it's never been this bad. Does anyone have any suggestions or a full blown solution to sorting this out? I'll specify some details if need be.

Hi all. For all of you who don't know me I'm JiggerFrizz, former Super Admin here at CG. I left CG over a month ago because of personal problems but after sorting some things out and clearing my head, i'm ready to come back. My reasons for leaving can be found in my ol' Leave Thread. Now some of you may be saying "You said you were going for good" well yes, I did say that but I was under a bit of stress at the time and I thought that leaving CG would solve my problems, but of course CG was only a symptom, not the actual cause. I'm doing good now and I realise that CG wasn't the problem, I was. What's new from when I left? I've passed my CBT so I can ride a Motorbike of up to 125cc and i'll be getting a Scooter or Bike within a few months, I'm doing better at college, not gaming as much, making new friends, turned 18 on the 29th of October so I can go out with mates and just generally getting into life. I also see CG turned 1 and OCRP is now OCRP 1.5. I'm sorry I missed those events. It would have been fun to have been there. So yeah, hello again CG. I hope to meet all the new members/staff and meet up with the old un's and just generally have good times like we used to do

Dear all members of Catalyst Gaming, I am writing this to regretfully inform you that I will no longer be an administrator, or a member of this community.
I am taking these actions due to a few reasons as I will state below.
I am overweight, unfit, not getting the grades I wanted and I need to change my life if I want to acheive my goal of joining the UK armed forces.
It is not easy for me to do this, as i love CG but I am almost 18 and I cannot keep kidding myself. I am not going to change by sitting around playing computer games as much as I do. I'm not saying I won't still play them, but not as much as I usually do.
Having the temptation of this community, Gmod and pretty much all other games I have is too much for me, as I am the kind of person that will keep procrastinating, making excuses as to why I can't rather than why I can, untill I reach an age where I look back on my life and realise what oppertunities i had, but did not take due to laziness, ignorance and short sightedness.
My account will be deleted or IP banned shortly, i will also be permanently banned from all servers and I will probably have no further contact with many, if not all people on my friends list. If you are removed please do not take it as an insult.
This is not a snap decision I am making. I have been thinking about this for a while now.
If you ever meant something to me as a friend, you will know. If I ever offended anybody, I apologise and hope you don't think any less of me.
This is actually almost making me cry because i love this community and you guys so much, but enough is enough.
It's been very fun guys, but i have to change if i want to live past 40, have a good life, get a girlfriend, get married, have kids and live a long and happy life.
So goodbye everyone. I hope you all acheive your goals and live happy, healthy, long lives.

I'm pretty sick to death of seeing people complaining about fail RP'ers and then do nothing about it.
If you see someone breaking the rules, record it and make a ban request instead of making a thread about it, where you whine and complain about them.
It is not just the administrators responsibility to sort this out, it is also YOURS.
If we didn't see it then there isn't much we can do about it.
So please, for the love of god, stop whining and actually DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

My headset recently broke and i'm looking to buy a new one. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. it needs to be priced in the £15-£30 range, I'm not too bothered about looks but it does need to be durable, have decent sound quality and no shoddy plastic.

Ok, i want to know how long people have spent on their Steam games in hours and days. If you can be bothered do your entire games list and calculate the amount of time you have spent on your Steam games, you can use this link to convert hours to days: http://www.calculateme.com/Time/Hours/ToDays.htmIf you can't be arsed doing the entire list then just tell us how long you've spent on Gmod. I've spent 1407.3 Hours = 58.6375 Days in total. Most hours spent on Gmod, 909 hours :O P.S, i have no fucking life xD

Since OC has gone and slit it's throat, i thought it might be a good idea to keep in touch with all my old OC friends and join CG plus i hear HRP is a good RP server and i cant wait to get back to RP'ing Just re-downloading the map (Hopefully it will work this time) so i hope to see you guys soon First post of many i think
