General Discussion / Got a new headset today/ My birthday

It's a Gamecom 377 has good bass clear mic and such I'm going to be on ventrillo to talk and such don't mind me having a childish voice on it. here's a picture of the headset by the way

Support & Help / Revision: Gmod crashing

So I've been revising and trying to make gmod work on this computer however nothing is working reinstalling the game, defragging game cache,etc. and I've tried many times to launch this game ending up crashing it. I see no problem with tf2,css and any other valve game and works fine so why doesn't gmod work? I tried to find out if it was the games or something so I uninstalled some to see if it worked I was wrong. Now is there any alternitives I could do? please help with this problem

Yes this is my First day of school where everything is thrown at your face like you were in an Seizure and then later confused of what happen there is a person in my class that looks like Elijah Wood and then maybe a young Christian Bale or Justin Timberlake Sophomore or Senior. Students are hilarious or just plain assholes because they take things seriously when they are not (maybe its just their face or something I dunno). Then one teacher just gives starter homework one for English and writers' workshop and then even more planner shit than usually for a first day. However classes I think would Help me to get University Of Oregon (Go ducks!) so I can study Biological Science and Mathmatics. But Socially I'm gonna think most people are gonna be act like dumbasses and say some pop culture references.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 12 years ago.

CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.

"Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999," said Doug Lombardi at Valve. "For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS' award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac."

CS: GO is being developed by Valve in cooperation with Seattle-based Hidden Path Entertainment. The title is targeted for release in early 2012 and will be playable at this year's PAX Prime and Eurogamer Expo.

Support & Help / Gmod crashing issue

So I played Team fortress 2 and said "Hey, If Team fortress 2 works on high settings it would work on gmod".
After Installing C:SS (so I could use the guns for gmod) it crashed, so I verified the game cache and backup the game files as well. Crashed, and then I restarted and then resinstalled the files, crashed again. so then there was these download pauses and I install those see if gmod would work. I installed those games and restarted my computer and then crash. So should I uninstall and reinstall it again? Or back up the files again?

I was from Orange Cosmos and joined the community when orange cosmos was at the brink of collapse, so then I went to back on perp. While I was looking on the server list I saw Orange Cosmos Roleplay on the server list and I was surprised it was back on and then I came to think to join the server or not. Then of today I decided to Join the community and I've seeen admins from the preceeding community, and I encourage them to give me a warm welcome.
