Is anyone experinced in Blender?

I've been trying to look for tutorials for modeling ragdolls for source with Blender 2.5, but I haven't had so much luck with it, as the things I keep finding are either outdated or are simply for "People who know their way around Blender" in which, I don't. So if you have any tips or anything, I'd appreciate it if you could help.
