I used to use Photoshop CS5, but now I only use SAI. I feel the lines are much more crisp and I adore the coloring tools. :) :) :)

The ones that look kinda ms-paint-y were done on iscribble.net

Funny story Geofferey is my HL2 oc whom I have been desperately looking for a place to rp him for like a month now lol.
I've actually drawn this weird crossover thing with Breen, Viktor Barisov (Singularity), and Rusty Venture (Venture Brothers).

1 sec I think I have it around here somewhere.............
Oh found them. :)
Long descriptions are long

"Caterusty
or Rustypillar
whatever I’m not picky
We were talking about Kafka’s Metamorphasis in class and this is all i could think about"
my English class is 3 hours long :) :)

"Rusty’s walking eye does not want to be washed by topless Rusty
Meanwhile, Breen, one of his pet combines and Barisov plot to
idunno
mess everything up
Also there’s a giant hunter slug thing wait you can’t really read any of this
Rusty: Get back here, I’m not done washing you!
Combine: We need like, 100 of those. (referring to Walking Eye)
Breen: Hmmmmm yeah. We could build it into a soft, helpless alien animal. Or something.
Barisov: Speak of the devil! We could totally use the TMD on this (referring to Hunterslug) or something, too!"
To get Barisov's joke you'd have to have played Singularity but it's a supergood game and I suggest it to everyone :) :)
While I'm suggesting games you should also play Metro 2033 and TimeSplitters 2 and Timesplitters: Future Perfect

Getting back on track tho

"Stage 2 of Baribreen’s ingenious plan. Use the TMD on both the Walking Eye and the hunterslug at the same time!
Also Breen got buff in the last 5 seconds oops :) :) :) :) :) :) :) (not sorry)
Barisov: Are you ready, doctor?!
Breen (aside): Why am I shorter than everyone?
TinyRusty in the background about to be tackled by a Combine: What are you doing on my la- is that my walking eye!?"

They're outside the Venture Compound in all of these, too. Y'know, in the episode where Orpheus is trying to get an arch? And Rusty tries to steal the show?

Oh hilarious and also related image:
(I did not make this and I do not take credit for it - wallpapersized - sfw - no ponies - no spidermangs)
Spoiler for Hiden:

Oh I totally got completely off track there didn't I oops

I was hoping you would ask. ;D ;D

I will <333 If you draw NOVA OfC 401. Tall, impending figure with a sort of fatherly but over watching shadow. Of course, its entirely up to you :P (But I think I might die if you don't)

MOAR
(and maybe even a screencap to go along with since I haven't memorized the uniform colors/mask styles yet lol)
I eat that detail up like candy ;) ;) ;)

Omg I know that feel. I used to have the worst trouble with folds (and still kinda do lol).
What I typically do is draw more folds in the sketch than I will ever actually need, and pick out the ones I like the best in the final linework. Drawing the form underneath the clothes (the naked body) and looking at references always helps too, lol. (But I rarely look at references  ::) ::) ::) )

But for everything I draw (that's based on something real, and even things that AREN'T real), I usually think to myself over and over again in my head: "Does that look natural? Does that look possible? Does it remind me of/ look like things I've seen before irl? Can I clearly imagine the bone/muscle structure (for people/animals/dragons/aliens)?"
I think this for folds in clothing and human anatomy, especially.

The best advice I can give to drawing good folds is to keep your hand loose when drawing them. Long, quick strokes work the best for me. Play with your clothing, Stretch different materials over your knuckles and observe how they 'react'. Be creepy and stare at people when you're out and about and watch how their clothing moves when they move.

I spent 30 mins trying to find a photo, but I couldn't find one of the OfC. He's one of the guys with the nice blue trim on him.

Oic, aight. I'll get right on it ;) ;)
