On a sad note, 3 decent people that were trying to protect their area have been killed by rioters in a hit and run incident.

Was that the police officers? I read in the paper that a few police officers got hit by rioters in a stolen car, but nothing else has been said about that.

It was rioters. If found guilty they will be charged with murder.

In my home town of Enfield, a bunch of the lads took to the streets to prevent any rioters from making there mark, and along the way even a bunch of cops joined in as they marched! Although I guess you can't be to sure if they were there in support or just to keep an eye on the crowd. :v

Yeah loads of people are forming big groups to tackle the rioters but this drains police resource even more because they have to keep an eye on two large groups of people so they might think they are helping but honestly it doesn't seem like they are. Yeah its good that they chase away rioters from quieter areas but they shouldn't be in the city centre where the police are, seems pointless because they cant do anything there

I live in Enfield which was attacked. Luckily for the rioters I was on holiday and they didn't touch my shit home so I'm not mad. They're low and a disgrace for using Mark Duggans death as an excuse for violence. Then ofcourse you just get the people who are doing it for insufficient reason (i.e. summa dat shoes), just because the opportunity is there.

A lot of the rioters are under the age of eighteen. As much as I agree that it's dumb that they are doing this shit, you would give the UK a really bad reputation for allowing the army to "hurt the fuckers" when the "fuckers" are primarily fourteen and fifteen years old.

The riots are pretty much over but on my way up the high street I spotted about 7 meat wagons, 2 cars, and about 10 patrols within 10minutes and my area of North London didn't even get touched.
