vanilla arma2 is pretty suckish. CO with ACE2 and one or two other mods is the best way.

That means we'll severely limit the number off people who CAN play. Even if we begin on vanilla, and later upgrade to CO, at least that way everyone can experience what it'll be like and decide if they want to pick up the full game.

But Hoplite, it'll probably just be people from CG anyway. I think we should at least do 1-2 operations in Vanilla just so everyone can get a taste for it. After that, if we move up to Combined Ops, everyone can decide if they enjoyed it enough to actually purchase the game.

Alright guys can you stop spreading testosterone everywhere? Thank you. The point is, vanilla ArmA2 is pretty suckish, yes, most people who have ArmA2 probably have OA as well. CO is the most played...Now...If not everyone has Vanilla it's just as easy to do a few vanilla operations and move up, nobody said you can't. There is the matter of fact that, well, CO is the best way to go. If more people have vanilla then stick with vanilla, if more people have CO, then go CO. Is this really that hard?

Well, thats not completely true. I am a clan member of the VBAU. Virtual British Assualt Unit, they are the most tatical clan in almost all of ARMA 2. No domination, we do Counter-Insurgency. Counter-Insurgency is harder where you deal with hostage situations and stoping bombing. No "blow the hell out of it" shit. Anyways, to get to the point, everyone that has ARMA 2 usually has Combined Operations bcause its almost the same price as just buying one of the ARMAs. Also, if I had to choose a addon, I would choose British Armed Forces. We can also get Improved AI as a free mod, newcomers don't need to install it its a script, where they do suppresing fire, hold hostages, take cover, and can do everything we can do.

Alright lets start by saying you don't mean advanced AI the mod you are reffering to is Zeus_AI which I had previously mentioned in one of my own posts. I also mentioned the facts of introducing certain mods that worked and improved the game quality without forcing any users to have to download and install any additional items. In other words all you've stated was a fact about yourself and rewritten what I said previously.
