Hughes H500D Floating upwards when hovering in air

Okay, so I know this isn't a big deal, but it's still nice to be able to leave your heli floating if you're going somewhere..
For example if you hover it right above the water, you can go check on bases etc ^^

Secondly, is this even a bug? can't you just put the helicopter in auto-hover and it will remain in hover even if nobody is inside?

It does this for every helicopter when put in hover mode
