My first GPA came in today!

As the title says I got my first GPA from school today and it was a 3.62 is that any good?

Yeah, that's a pretty good GPA. At my school you'd be classified as High Honors(3.5-4.0, Honors is 3.0-3.5).

My GPA is 5.42, but we're on a weighted GPA system where honors/AP classes affect your grades.

its good but freshman year is the most important as far as youre gpa changes the most in it. just keep it up and take AP classes if possible.

Are you sure? Most important year at my school is my junior year since we take the ACT.

But yeah, take AP classes too. They give you college credits.

The ACT doesn't affect your GPA. He was talking about significant changes to your GPA, which occur most in your freshman year, when you're still adjusting to high school and the courseload. From that point on, your GPA generally stays pretty consistent, if you keep up the same habits you develop in your freshman year.
