Personally, if nobody else in the server speaks Sweedish, I find it hard to imagine why someone would apply to speak it- who are you going to even speak to?

Because the character is Swedish. In the backstory, it seems like it was written to take place in Sweden.

I have a Swedish character and she doesn't speak Swedish for the sake of me not knowing Swedish. No excuses.

Concerning the Firearm:
After reviewing administrator opinions, I've decided to drop the pistol from the authorization entirely. As of now, only the following is being asked for:

Undiagnosed case of High Functioning Autism, specifically Aspergers Syndrome

4/4 Violin and Horsehair Bow (as well as accessories)

Skilled in both Internal Medicine & Surgery

Moderately Extensive Collection of Surgery & Internal Medicine Equipment

Familiarity in both Swedish & English languages

Concerning the Equipment List:
While I'm not extremely versed in these every nook and cranny of medical RP, I'll try to put together a list of something a little more exact.
Stay tuned, expect a list later today / tonight.

Concerning the Swedish:
Not many characters really do speak Swedish in-game, so me utilizing using'[swedish] nigrar we b swedes' is unlikely. The characters native language will more likely manifest itself in ways like this:

**Adrian Fasjovik's scalpel slips on her patient's flesh, the blade making a thin, jagged gash about an inch long on Generic Name's arm. She spits out Swedish cuss words from between her teeth, doing her best to console her frustration.

Unless there is another character who speaks Swedish, it won't be likely that you'll be seeing any of this: [Swedish]

I honestly have no problem with the whole [Swedish] thing, as doing that prevents you from looking like a complete idiot by using Google translate, which is really bad at properly formatting things as a mere start for its issues.
Secondly, doing that allows admins to do their job should an issue arise. If you're going to say that you shouldn't have a Swedish character speak Swedish because the player doesnt speak it, then you might as well tell them to not make it at all. In fact, might as well tell a majority of people to only make characters from English speaking countries, as there's not going to.be a person born in raised in a country  that doesn't speak the native language.

Current Characters:
Abdul Sadek - Unregistered citizen, currently near City 18.
Monica Halleway - A seemingly crazy woman roaming the plaza.

Former HL2RP-Characters:
Jennifer Hanson - Former trader now involved with the Lambda Movement in City 17.
'091' - A former rogue medical unit now on the Combine Homeworld. Or is she?
Michael 'Y' Eloriga - A wanted criminal located in City 17, frequently spotted on rooftops.

Your backstory is written nicely and I enjoyed reading it. Despite the list of acquired equipment being somehow extensive, it appears your standing within the community is good and I support your application. I'll wait for a support from some administrator(s) before the decision will be made, but it looks good so far :)

I hate to be that guy, but this application has been up for a couple of days now, and I've got some admin, SA, and player support. Sorta jonesin' to RP this character, so could I'd really appreciate a verdict sometime soon.

You've received support mostly from non-administrators, hence why your application is still on hold. Once you get more administration support, I'll accept this.
