Write a detailed in-canon back-story how your character obtained these authorizations.
Grigor as a young child resided in a cabin with a large plot of forestry around him. Due to his rather secluded childhood his father naturally became his role model. His father happened to be a huntsman who used his wit and raw skill to outmatch any game that happened to be living in the area. His father - being the source of food and income alone - often required his son Grigor to assist him in small things; such as moving fire wood or sharpening his hatchets.
As a result Grigor frequently had spare time and as such he decided to follow in his fathers footsteps. This ranked from tinkering with his supplies seeing how they work and learning how to assemble traps under his father’s guidance.
Grigor, having quite the spare time, decided to pursue what his father does, tinkering with his supplies, seeing how they work. His father noticed his son's fascination, though knowing he could not hold a rifle, he could do the second best thing, trap making.
Grigor's father showed him some of the basic traps, they wouldn't fool anyone, but they gave Grigor the basic idea. Grigor was overjoyed, often setting pitfalls around the cabin with leaves on top of them, boxes with bait inside and many other things a sentient being would laugh at if made to ensnare himself unless he didn't see them coming.
Through trial and error, Grigor had learned some valuable lessons when it came to his traps, asking his father for some more advanced lessons in order to quench his hunger for knowledge as if it was sustenance. His father nodded, though this time the traps weren't exactly made by himself, his father passed him a cage, a sliding pan and some fish wire, telling him to do him proud.
Through time, Grigor had figured a system, these traps were enough to catch a small mammal, the joy on his face when he showed his father the capturing of a small bird, a large grin that seemed to last for hours. Grigor had caught multiple birds and small mammals.
Eventually came a time where Grigor's father did not have the time to create traps, the use of his rifle proving more efficient, thus he instructed his son, whom at this age could hold his own, snares, the ability to snare an animal or creature, with the use of wood, sticks and rope. The principals Grigor had learned with pressure, wiring and many other factors had came into play though he was no longer playing around, he could make this a profession. After tinkering with the blue print his father had gave him, he had figured it out.
Grigor placed it where instructed, he would often watch it for hours on end, wanting to see the results of his trap. Once a deer approached, but the trap seemed to not work as planned, Grigor being disappointed went back to the basics of his trap, asking his father what went wrong. After a while Grigor had came to realization that the rope he was using wasn't reliable, thus the deer was able to pull his trap apart, rejoiced, he decided to use what supplies his father used to use, perfecting his 'skill'.
Through Grigor's persistence, he managed to ensnare a deer, but a problem had arisen, how could he finish the deer off? He had never thought of this, luckily, he father had been with him at the time, helping him set it up perfectly, as he didn't want to fail again. His father smirked, hanging him a bow, knowing he was too young to hold a rifle steadily or to control the knock back, reached into his duffle bag, removing a bow with the odd arrow inside. Grigor took the bow, shooting it at the ground a few times, getting used to the craft.
By this time the adolescent deer had given up, lying down. Grigor aimed at the deer, directly at the neck. Grigor simply aimed, being unskilled at this made him nervous, after a few minutes, he finally fired, pulling the bow string far back before letting go, piercing the Deer neck, he then stomped on the deer head to confirm his death, he went ecstatic, realizing he had just brought food to his household. As Grigor grew up, he learned other basic traps, such as trip wires with cans at the end to alert all the way too bigger cages designed to bait in inexperienced deer.
Grigor had now also decided to use his bow as his weapon of choice as he grew up, following the rule of aiming for the neck, spare pieces of circular wood his father had cut were used for aiming his bow. Though Grigor's aim wasn't perfect it was competent enough for him to hold his own. Though as he came of the right age, his father had given him a hunting rifle, he began to use that to finish the animals off, though he didn't shoot in the neck anymore, the gun being strong enough to kill the deer via the head.
Grigor also came across the same his father had, there was no need to snare the deer now that he could simply shoot them, he continued to trap though, as a hobby as he put time into learning to shoot with a rifle.
Eventually, Grigor had also proven competent with the rifle, though he wasn't the best shot around, he could hold his own. Still living in the Cabin with his father, Grigor began to take over his father's role as he grew old, caring for his role model.
This didn't stop his father from passing tricks of the trade, his father became what was a grizzled war veteran is to a man serving. What came with trapping came hunting, what came with hunting came the ability to use a rifle.
Eventually the Combine had came, Grigor residing in the Cabin before realizing it was no longer safe, his father, being of old age realized whatever is "hunting" them, he was too old to escape from, he gripped his rifle, instructing his son to take supplies and then leave. That was last time he saw his father.
Through the loss of his father, Grigor had became bitter and cold, living in isolation other than trading goods had left Grigor with only himself, venturing the landscape. The skills he was taught saving his life multiple times. Through time, he eventually made it to the Romanian Mountains, a sign of life, his diet consisting of meat, his lack of ammo, the fact his weapon he had threw away had grew unusable from constant use with no proper cleaning and just rope, sticks, a bow and arrow was not going to keep him alive forever, so he wandered inside.
His persistence in watching his traps warrants himself a title - 'Watcher'.

What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?

Perks
The ability to assemble traps.
The ability to disable a creature/animal.
Basic firearm knowledge and skill.
A bow with arrows and quiver with a variety of tactics/skills.
Can be used as self defence or to hunt animals, this also may teach him some aspects of a crossbow, it's counterpart, though not many.

Defects
No experience cleaning or maintaining a firearm.
The traps were designed for animals, a human could easily cut it off his leg with snares, though trip wires may be effective
His constant use of this skill set has left him to become a shy person/loner - socially isolated from others.
Although he knows how to use firearms, this does not mean he is safe with it - He could easily injure himself whilst holstering it.
A bow and quiver are not very effective against human beings at close range, or extreme distances, this can serve as a defect in the sense of the characters lack of accuracy and aim with the said bow and quiver.

What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I am planning on using the traps as a defense system for anywhere I occupy e.g snares and tripwires and the bow as self defense. I am unsure how to mark traps though. I would also like to spice up Outlands RP as I do not wish to be a typical White Knight that hangs around Belles or a black knight that just starts fights at the bar.
Will anyone else need these auths? (If so, list OOC and IC name(s))

Which server does this apply for?

After reading over this application I can say that this application certainly isn't asking for that much and the backstory seems to satisfy me on how these things were obtained. I don't see much to argue with here so I will put up my full support of this auth app.

It looks decent enough to me. If people aren't properly roleplaying the traps/snares or are lolavoiding them, contact an admin immediately if talking to them in LOOC doesnt work.

You have my support on this. Not much trap setting going on in Outlands, plus it'll be nice for medicRP if someone stumbles in it. Your back story is pretty legit and you seem pretty sure on how you're going to be using this character.
