Ashley White was a Slums scavenger, she scavenged robotic parts and put them together to make random things. But she decided to make special things like zoom goggles and gas masks, she also made equipment for herself. She came about a contact lens and an Infrared scanner lying about while she was scavenging a pile of trash, and found some spare metal, she went back to the specialist and had him craft the metal into a small eyepatch thing with a strap. She has worn that thing on many scavenging trips, and she found a datapad using her new toy, she got the pad to work and decided to use it to store important data.
What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
The abillity to scavenge better and scan for life forms while in the Slums. The abillity to store data.
Defects
The Combine will amputate me if they find out I'm using this equipment.
What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I plan to scavenge with the scanner and use the datapad to mark locations that are shelter, sources of supplies, and places that stuff is I couldn't carry.
