dammit, choppers, physics
« on: July 30, 2011, 01:30:36 AM »
Please, follow the laws of physics. you go flying through a canal, or flying with momentum to low to ground, you lose lift, and you crash. So stop chasing people through tunnels and canals with the heli 5 feet off the ground, with sparks flying out your ass. so far, many times, ive raged from this.

Lol ota can't rp2lose. They just gotta use the poor quality of the physics engine to their ability.

Seriously. Helicopters hae blades spinning at over 700rpm. If they so touch a wall, you're toast. Also, larks helicopters can't fly in low ceiling areas due to air physics. The turbulqnce created by the heavy downward thrust would cause the helicopter to lose control and hit something. Not to mention you'd have to be an ultimate pilot in order to control a helicopter in a tight space without hitting anything. And don't say "Oh but OTA have supreme training" because it doesn't work that way bub.

exactly, plus, think of this example, that everyone should know
seal team lands, OH FUUUU WALL 5 FEET AWAY *crash*
you need room around the helicopter for it to move, and height above ground to get momentum going. thats why helicopters dont land on city streets...
and no, they DONT rp to lose, which is that issue. they 1shot half the map with heli, sweeping the entire map in under 45 seconds, and then a single synth comes in and clears out a dozen buildings with 15+ within 20 seconds
