IC Character Name: Michle Fonstone
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so. When Combine Civil Authority was first started, he didn't reallt care of them. He didn't even know about them until a week after Combine Civil Authority was made. He had a slight hate in him for people who joined Combine Civil Authority. He saw them beat people for a slightest or no reason at all. He would always stay away from any unit, he was very afraid of them.
As month passed he started to get more use to Combine Civil Aithority. He also started to see a lot of people resist, people killed... His mind was going mad, he would get nightmares of men in gasmasks killin him. He would almost never go outside, just to get a ration. He would never make eye contact. He did start to notices something about the units, they were fed very well, they had strength in them.
He started having thoughts of applying for Combine Civil Authority. He would always try to not think about that. He started to hate him-self, but the hunger and the fear... it had control over him. He looked at him self, weak... skinny, and unhealthy. He just couldn't handle life as a citizen anymore. He knew he just had to join Civil Authority, for his own good. He always told anyone who asked that it was to keep socistability, but everyone knows why they joined... Hunger, fear... Instinct.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)He is very Loyal, Trsutworthy, he takes risks, thoughtful, thinks before he does anything, he never hesitates, and he is somewhat smart.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.For me it will not be a new experience, but I want to try and devolope my character more realisticly. I want to mess up few times here and there as a recruit. I also want to show more human emotions. As I was trying to be perfect with my first unit. I want to have this unit as one that will not be perfect at all. Althought he will get much better as he ranks up. For me it will be an improvement to my Roleplaying skills and maybe even loosing that character in some point.
Now, for Michle it will be a horrible and a great experience. He thinks that life in the Nexus is easy and relaxed. He will find him slef beeing yelled at by higher units and trated like a scum. He will realize what he got him self into. He will start to regret it at some points of his life, but also think that he is lucky, luckt to be fed like that. Trained like that, and get paycheks. He will starts to get better as he ranks up, but recruit rank and an oh-four rank will be not the best for him. as he doesn't speak much he will not have a lot of friends in CCA, if any at all. It will be tough, but great experience for him.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words. Michle was born on April 5th, 1994 in United States, Utah. He was African-American, as a kid his dad taught him how to play basketball. When he got older he would always play Basketball in school and after school with his friends, he would play basketball too much as his mom told him. He wasn't too bad as a kid, but he started to play very well as he got to 5th grade. He also started watching baskeball games on TV, he got his eye on his state's team Utah Jazz. Utah Jazz wasn't a great NBA team back then, but it was slowly getting better and better. He then set his dream to become an NBA player someday, but what he really wanted is to get dreafted into Utah Jazz.
When he got to Middle school he clearly was getting much taller then other kids. He played basketball on any free time he got by now. He got into his school's basketball team in 7th grade. He was always to be on the court when the game started, his team only lost 3 out of 16 games in the first season. He didn't speak much to kids on his team or any kids at all. He would always try his best, and think before he did any move.
Once he got to high school he joined the basketball team as a freshman. He was the 2nd best player on his team until Junior year. That's when he became the best player on his team. His position was SF, he wasn't the best in defence, but scoring was his thing. His team always won the season, they became the best team in the state. He got a schoolarship as a senior, he thought it was his first step into the NBA.
He went to Uivesity of Utah, he was also put in it's NCAA team. He was very happy with what he got, he would spend all his free time practicing with his teammates. His team had a very hard time in the first season, but they became a very good team. He was very happy and thinking about rookie showcase, that he will be there someday.
It was their last game of the year when the Portal Storms began, the stadium shook and the lights went out for about 30 seconds. The whole stadium became silent. The game stopped as the ball bounced in the driection that no one would know. After 20 seconds everyone started to panic as another Storm hit the stadium. Everyone tried to get out, running into the darkness, over people, over children... When the lights went back on, it seemed like a room full of cockrouches when the lights were turned on. Michle ran towards the emergency exit, as he ran out he saw the sunset over the small town that he lived in.
The next day he woke up in his dorm, just to see his roommates watching the news about what happaned, including the footage from their game. He went to the courts to shoot some hoops, but another Portal Storm, much stronger this time went across the town. The pole got ripped out of the ground, almost crashing on top of Michle. Some of the old building collapsed. He heard sirens all over the town, police cars, firemen and ambulances went past him. He saw people running, he saw people crying... he thought the world would end. The power started to go out as the days went by, many riots occurred during the days of Portal storms.
When the seven hour war started... Michle ran outside just to see an army invading Earth. He ran as fast as he could. He ran and ran until he couldn't anymore. He stopped and panted, he then looked around him, just to see fire and collapsed building... ruins. He found an open basement and was hiding there for 6 hours. He was found by a group of soilders, but they looked nothing like human would. He does not remember anything between that moment, and waking up on a bench in City 5.
When the war was over, people didn't know what was happening. There was no food, water, or police force. Rumors started to spread about so called Universal Union invading Earth. Dr.Breen surrendering the whole human kind to them. As month passed Universal Union setup Combine Civil authority in the cities, which acted as a police force.Many who resisted where taken by them and never seen again. Some said they were made into slaves, others said they were made into elite soilders or killed. Michle was very angry at what happaned, his life was ruined, but he knew better not to resist. As he ate and ate the rations he slowly started to forget a lot of things of his past life. He didn't forget everything, but his memory had whie spots in it. Year passed after the Seven Hour War, Michle got very weak and skinny. He knew he was lossing his health and body to what he drank and ate. He always wondered why people who joined Combine Civil authority would always stay strong and healthy. He also noticed that they were very wealthy.
He was relocated to City 45 for unknown reason. It was a very new environment for him, the city had much greater sociobility, there were much more units patroling. He slowly started to think of joining Combine Civil Authority. He knew he had to to survive, he wanted to eat healthier food. He wnated to keep the city sociostable. What he really wanted? He wanted to be wealthy and well fed. He knew he had everything to become a unit, he was tall, accurate and fast. He slightly chuckled as he finished his application and lokked at him-self. He lived his life as he would before, waiting for a reply.

Then he was standing right next to me, so I had to not breathe or move. Then as he chased me down the alley a headcrab attcked me and him. He then shot and killed me.
