I'm sorry, but from what I can tell this is far from "Epic Roleplay". "Epic Roleplay" doesn't involve the attacker mingerunning. I can't stand it when I approach a fight, to find out that one of them can't RP. I completely understand 017's actions, to be honest.

I spent ten minutes with him. Believe me, this isn't good for the server. He isn't taking the role serious and it was a horrible experience.

** [Male | 6'5 | African ...] kicks his balls, then takes the wood, then shanks him with it

There's a nice bit of his roleplay, let me remind you that this fight was over nothing. Along with that he seems to have some sort of disease that forces you to scream cracker every five minutes.

Lolol. Well, let me correct my earlier statement. It would be interesting if was properly RPed, and wasn't 110% stereotypes. I still think a better roleplayer should try this out, but like, as a more serious attempt at it.

//Surprisingly, I'm curious how this will turn out. It would be interesting to see a more gangster style rebellion group. I mean, no doubt ZEALOT will probably take this out very quickly, but it should be interesting while it lasts.

I don't mind delivering citizens to the CA's office. It often makes for good RP. What I hate is when CAs get an attitude with units because they aren't delivering the citizens fast enough. Especially since they are equivalent to an 01 unit according to the CA Code of Conduct or whatever it's called. CAs really need to read up on that, I've never seen a CA call HC ma'am or sir, when it says that they are supposed to.

EXACTLY, I remember asking one of the CA's to calm down after they said they were getting aggrivated with the speed of the arrival. I think it would be fine if they asked when the citizen would get there politely, but when they say, "Where is that citizen, I'm growing impatient." A problem arises.

LOL That's the exact time I was referring to. But yes, I think all of the CAs need to re-read the conduct thread. It's like, the last sticky in this section.

//No, I agree, often times training sucks because half the people who train just copy/paste from the forums, or just slightly re-word it. I'm guilty of doing that too, but most of the time I try to find a more "hands on" method of training. For example, on my forensics team most of the time I have them train through experience, so I'll say "Do this with me, I'll teach you as we go, and that'll count as this training course." Makes shit so much less boring.

If you ask many CCA OOC about the Nexus, even over steam, they won't tell you because it's "classified". That is such an insult to a community that is supposed to be working together to make a fun game.

Lol, what? While ICly most CCA info IS classified, OOCly, it's all well known. The only real time someone will tell you it's classified is when it comes to ZEALOT, and don't feel so left out because that information is classified when it comes to units. Shit, I have an OfC and he still has little to no information about ZEALOT, both ICly and OOCly.

Also, I don't see many people in the CCA acting like they OOCly have authority. Of course there are your select few who have a huge ass heads OOCly, but it's a CCA rule that you HAVE to be nice to citizens OOCly. If they are being a douche with their fake sense of OOC authority, then report them to a higher ranking unit in the CCA.

I believe it has been stated before that I wasn't openly waving my hands to the scanner, so there was no way it would've snapped a picture of them.

Quote
When I made the finger print point on the other thread, I wasn't saying that the scanner took a picture of his fingers and compared them to fingerprints. What I was saying that the fact that the CCA has a copy of his fingerprints shows that he has in fact been processed by the CCA (Like all citizens are when they are placed in cities), which I would assume means a scanner could figure out who they are.

I wasn't in charge of forensics, or even working on that case when it happened, so I can't tell you much about the case; however, I noticed it in our database, and I figured that it made sense.

Please read all the posts.

If this was to be passed then it would establish a precedent for all future situations which would virtually allow me and other units to basically metagame wanted targets simply by getting a copy of their fingerprints - and ultimately that would create more drama with 'resistance opposition' than what there already is.

What? When did anyone say that getting a copy of their fingerprints gives you the right to "basically metagame"? Everyone is taking what I said and twisting it. It isn't a hard concept. We have a copy of the Candyman's fingerprints, proving that he's been processed by the combine before. People on the other thread said that the scanner wouldn't be able to positively identify him, which is why I brought up this point. The way I see it, if you've been processed before by the combine (Like all citizens are when they are put into cities), then a scanner could recognize you unless you've somehow reconstructed your face.

You're basically saying the scanner is a flying super computer....

Please explain how I said this in any way, shape, or form. I'm saying that scanners can do what they're supposed to do. It's not my fault if you don't like it.
