Civil Authority Applications / [DENIED] Michael Con's Civil Authority Application

Michael Con's Civil Authority Application

IC Character Name: Michael Con
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
My character, Michael Con, has recently been transferred from City eight. Michael has experienced what the citizens have to hide or even do when the combine arn't there. He wishes to stop what illegal items a citizen can carry. Another thing that lead Michael Con to being apart of the Combine Civil Authority is that he wants to stop people who don't follow the Universal Union rules. Reasons of why Michael wants to join is because he has also seen that citizens can carry or hide things from the CCA and not just normal contraband. The day that Michael Con wished to join and be a member of the Universal Union is when a unknown citizen had been getting him into trouble using his name. The trouble that he had got into was deep yet he had nothing to do with it when a citizen has shot his door open and threatened to kill him! At that very moment he knew that he wanted to stop things like that because no citizen should just walk around with a loaded handgun it's just dangrous! From that point he has been preparing for a day to come where he can get called to help the city.
Even though that Michael has had friends in the citys that he would always stay loyal and turstworthy to the Universal Union. Michael has always been truthful to the UU. He has always been a person who likes to enforce the rules ever sence he was a kid. During times when he has nothing to do he will just sit around and listen and think. He listens for any talk that may be anti civil to the Universal Union. If Michael happens to hear any talk that may be harmful or would be anti Universal Union he will report it to a CCA unit. Ever sence the Combine came he has always wanted to be apart of the Universal Union and enforce the Universal Union laws. Michael knows the laws and is fimialr with them that would make possibly other people to think he would be a good addidtion to the CCA!Michael Con hopes that in the future if he is able to succeed in getting his application accepted he hopes to go far into the Combine ranks!
If so chosen to be a member of the Combine Civil Authority Michael will have great things to offer to the benafactors of the Combine. Michael is a type of person who is hard working because he can help out when needed and do a good job around the Nexus. He will try to never let anyone down with anything if so possible. Michael will spend time on trying to help the Universal Union anyway he can. He is also very loyal because he will never tell a lie to the Universal Union and will always be there beside the Combine. Michael will stay loyal and defend for what is right. Therefor, Michael is and will and remain loyal,trustworthy, hardworking and will be with the Universal Union through thick and thin! He is willing to work his way up slowly through the Combine ranks and possibly reaching the ablilty to be apart of the OTA. Michael would be well at work if he was in the CCA on patrols or rations.
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)
My character is very trustworthy. If you tell Michael any secret or anything it stays with him. He is also loyal to his friends. (Even though he has none.) Michael will stay loyal he will stand by they,re side and defend them if something has been mistaken or they have been a cussed of something that they haven't done.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I expect that being apart of the Combine Civil Authority would be very diffrent than playing the normal life of a citizen. I would think that playing as Combine Civil Authority would be a good experience to put my role play skills to the test! I know for sure that being apart of the Combine Civil Authority would be no easy cake walk. I understand that being apart of the Combine Civil Authority would come with a lot of responsibility. If I was apart of the Combine Civil Authority I would think that anyone who joins the Universal Union along with the Combine Civil Authority would be expected by the high command of CCA to be the best they can be. If my character Michael Con is accepted to the CCA he would do his job with responsibility. Being apart of the Combine Civil Authority would not only be a whole new level of role play for me but with Michael too. Being apart of the CCA would bring on responsibility's that would challenge me and my character into a different level than being a citizen. Michael Con knows that being apart of the CCA will be a challenge and won't be easy at all times but he is prepared and so am I.
I expect that the Combine Civil Authority will be hard at times and somtimes easy. If Michael is accepted into the CCA he is going to try the best he can to help other units if they are in need of help. Playing as a Combine Civil Authority unit will be very diffrent that playing the role of a citizen. Playing as a normal citizen you don't have to pay attention to much besides not breaking the law. Playing as a Combine Civil Authority unit how ever you have to focus on a lot more things like a citizens actions if they are allowed by the UU or not. I know that becomming apart of the Combine Civil Authority that I will be expected to do the best I can do by following protocal and not breaking any Universal Union rules. If I am accepted to become a member of the Combine Civil Authority I would think that it would be hard at times to follow all the protocals needed to enforce the Universal Union laws of the city. Following universal union protocals would at times be very hard with remembering everything but even though it may be hard at times I will do my best if I am selected to be a CCA unit.
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
When Michael was first born in 1991 in Canada he was always shy never had friends. Michael always liked to be by himself he enjoyed staying at home and just relaxing. When he was 8 years old he meet his best friend Mike Oliver. He became good friends with him and he had spent a lot of time with him. Years later When the portal storms the city went into chaos fear struck the city so the city was evacuated separating Michael and Mike. Michael and his family where taken to a shelter where they stayed. During one night around 1:00 they heard radio chatter, Someone went over to the door to check who was there and when they where walking over the door down kicked down. Combine units rushed into the room as four citizens rushed out of the room an combine unit opened fire and killed them. Michael was in the corner facing the wall with his hands in the air along with the other people in the room. He heard gun shots outside and then the combine unit behind him lifted his rifle and hit him knocking Michael out cold.
Michael woke up in a stone jail cell that had metal bars and the lighting was dim. Michael got up from the bed with a very bad headache and he was in a blue jumpsuit with a white label on it that said "CID 84432". He got up and looked through the small rectangle window that was on the metal door and saw that there where many other cells all filled with people of every kind. About 9 hours went by of solid boredom and heard his cell door get unlocked and out came an Civil Protection unit and he said "You citizen come with me". Michael followed the man through hallways full of jail cells and he reached the end of the hallway and the CCA unit said "Move along". The heavy blast door slides open and there it was City 8. Michael took the steps outside and looked around there he saw everything the citadel,nexus and the propaganda posters. Michael walked around seeing the CCA units and all the citizens who looked the same in clothing. There he carried out his life he gained a loyalist band and remains to have no friends and continues to keep an eye out for his best friend Mike Oliver if he isn't already dead.

I have not had any CCA characters at Catalyst Gaming.

I, Michael Con hereby swear my mind, body and soul to the Universal Union forever so long as I draw breath. I do so knowing that my actions will be held accountable to me and solely myself. I also declare my knowledge that as a Member of The Universal Union that I will be required to perform tasks above and beyond as well as perform ANY task ordered to by ANY commanding person(s). I hereby acknowledge the fact that as a Civil Protection Task-force Unit that I will be losing most, if not all, communication and or past relationship with anyone outside of the Universal Union's operational bounds.
