Shipment Transaction logging is mandatory. Failure to notice this post is no longer an excuse, you will get harsh punishments.

Civil Workers Union / Notice of Inactivity.

Hey,

From now till the 16th i will be somewhat inactive,  this is due to a heavy dose of Real life choking me up.  I will be on at some points during the days but not much.  All forumbased management i will still do.   Theres still some things that will be changing soon so stay tuned.

Hello Workers,

We have allotted a huge area of garage for use of Medical Care/attention.  Please use the garage for medical operations,  do not venture into unsafe areas.  Thank you for your time, if you got questions please contact James Tavener and Ted Simmons.

(OOC):  It has been a issue recently that some dont know where you can setup operations,  Its ok to make a clinic in the shops in the plaza, but we also have a garage that can go to good uses (Even tho its 50% full of rubble).   And some have had the nerve of building it in the offices.  Please use the garage for future uses of Medical operations or a shop until granted otherwise.

And Yes, This will apply for any future map edits also.

Today we decided to change things up abit and do an experiment.

We bought out all of Block A of the UCH and renovated it with prefabricated rooms with 3 beds each.  We sorted citizens into them and it turned out to be a huge success.   The overall roleplaying from regular citizen activity increased more as people were actually given roommates and changes made.  Food was also given.

Suggestions / Accurate ban count.

Right now,  the Ban Counts on the forums are very inaccurate and following them is a joke.  Only 30% of them are accurate. 

Heres my idea.
  • Finally intergrate a system that if they get banned for more than 12 hours on OCRP in game they get a point
  • [Global] If the bans below 12 hours it wont give a point
  • If a admin unbans a person the point should remove automatically.  Right now it doesnt and some admins are too dumb to realize they can remove points.
  • All bans should be recorded into a database and when you click on that users ban level it displays the reasons.
  • If you get over 8 marks with the new system you get automatically permabanned.
  • Finally do HL2RP bans?

News and Announcements / [11/19/2011] MC2 Event Map Update

The server will display on the Status bar as "offline" this is because minequery is not installed cause were not on bukkit yet!

Hello!

Currently bukkit is not up-to-date with 1.0.0 of Minecraft.  So until then i have updated the server and put it into Vanillia mode.  Everything is backed up on my computer and will come back when bukkit is ready.  So right now we are playing on a Survival map.   Theres limited supplies, and limited food.  The key goal is to survive.  But hey we still got rules!


No griefing/looting
No Flaming/Trolling
No Killing people without a very good reason (Intruding on marked territory)
Getting over the bedrock border is exploiting and will result in you being banned + a 2 week ban when MC2 is back to normal.   There are no more warnings.


Please enjoy and have fun and try out all 1.0.0 has!

    Hello my minecraftians today we have released a update!

    • Added MCMMO Back in, its permissions work now too.
    • Updated webauction to its latest build
    • WebAuction will now take 1% of your earning from someone buying a item, this will not work if your item is less than 1 coin.
    • WebAuction will now charge 0.02 a item, a day for storage in the mailbox.  This will not charge auctions
    • WebAuctions will now expire after 10 days.

      • Added BuyCraft - Many packages will be added soon but the current ones can be seen by typing "/purchase"
      • Added BukkitInventoryTools  this will allow you to make your own books, have a backpack, a portable workbench, and sort and stack items that cant be stacked.  This will be a package in buycraft.
      • Capes are now finished and added to BuyCraft[/color]
        • Updated Citizens(NPCs)
        • NPC's will eventually be a package in BuyCraft[/color]
          • Added Cauldrons
          • Cauldrons will be available in BuyCraft soon.[/color][/color]
          • Updated mChat
          • MChat will now display your rank in the scoreboard(tab)

          • Updated BukkitPermissions with the following changes:
          • Fixed Gold from having every Falsebook IC
          • Admins can no longer use all WorldEdit commands.
          • Admins can now kick,ban,mute and more.  Sorry for the wait.
          • Added mobdisguise for admins to disguise themselfs.  Press (~) in spoutcraft to launch the menu.

          • Done some changes to MobArena:
          • Boss wave has been fixed and now works
          • Silverfish wave has been fixed
          • Overall hardness of the game increased

          My chars going to be fixed eventually, and i expect to get this boat active again with or without you.  You can choose to be active again or take the exit door to my right and be blacklisted.  Im deeply ashamed its gotten to this, i have only seen one CWU On in a week.

          James has had other stuff to do so the fault of the inactivity really lies on me, i shouldve known everyone would lazy off if i went inactive.

          Well shits about to change.

          Half-Life 2 Roleplay / Requesting Ted to be moved back to the city.

          Basically,

          RTLK never added his script that would prevent us from clicking CWU chars in outlands.  I went to outlands to click my Outlands char but my mouse spazzed or OA did and i clicked ted.  I quickly exited and he cant be loaded in the city.  Ive asked for the past 3 days but no ones done it and i guess the ignoring system was left on.  Also im well aware of the "lol if you did its your fault denied" but i am an exemption seeing im the Organizer of the CWU and RTLK is at fault.

          I find this an absolute mockery of HL2RP.  Not only does it not fit into or around our canon but its not realisic.  Combine with skull heads? Citizens shoving pumpkins on their heads?

          Also what happen to "No TF2 Props" RTLK....

          So for the release we are debating to Add Towny Or not.

          The imaginations are endless!

          Simple Version (Dumbed down)
          Towny will make you buy 16x16x128 chunks and create a villiage/town/nation using iConomy money.  You can add residents, charge tax, have plots, and much much more.   This will stop 200 people from building all across the map like crazy and actually save map space.  Starting towns/nations will not cost much and buying more land wont also.  This will have a grid based system and help manuals around.  The main idea for adding this is to make more use for iConomy and pay for land.  I hope you guys deeply think about this before voting "No because MC != RP".

          The Smart Version
          Towny is a plugin for a Bukkit modded Minecraft server. The plugin itself is a manager for a Resident-Town-Nation hierarchy, as well as a block permission manager for a grid-like protection system. Each town has a mayor, while a nation has a king. They both have their own assistants to help run their respective people. Players can also purchase land from the town, as well as an optional daily tax set by the mayor. The player can allow his friends from out of town to build on his land when even his very own town's people can't build if he so wishes.

          The bases of protection follows under how the world is separated into chunks. For those unaware, minecraft servers are broken up into 16x16x128 sections of blocks. The 128 being the height from the adimantium floor to the clouds in the sky. The protection ignores the height an focuses on the x and z planes. The default size for grid squares is 16x16, similar to the chunk size (configurable when you start using towny). So claiming a townblock (a grid square) allows that section of land to follow your town's or the plot owner's permissions.

          Each town can claim up to a certain amount of townblocks, a set ratio or amount configured in the setting that is relative to the amount of players taking residence in that town. Residents themselves have no limit on how many they claim, however the daily tax (when using alongside iConomy) will take a bite out of their resources. The money is tunneled to the town's bank account that only the mayor can withdraw from, except if the town belongs to a nation. Any town belonging to a nation may be required to pay the nation a daily upkeep as well.

          The gods of the land (admins) have the ability to start and end wartime mode. During war, most commands are frozen in order to focus on the event. Whilst at war, block permissions are ignored and any town that is in a nation is completely unprotected to the other nations residents. Also, each cell, or townblock, is given a certain amount of health. When a non-allied player enters the townblock, the townblock's health decreases. The town's residents have to force the player's out while still attacking others. When the health reaches zero, the town loses claim over that townblock. The focus is to defeat the each town's home block where the town's people spawn from.

          Land
          Any land outside a city(Or not bought) cannot be built on.  Also if you own a city people cant build inside it unless they are a resident(Or bought a plot). Any mobs inside the city cant be killed by outsiders too.

          Everything will be controlled.
          Wars will not happen. If not it would be a rare event that the chances of happening is .00001 out of 100.  This cannot be abused if on however as everything Both Towns Have to agree on.

          Money
          Cities will have money and ways to donate into it.  Along with this iConomy will have new ways to earn money.  This will all be explained on release.
