Some of my cars have every single upgrade (well 2 actually) which adds up to somewhere around 200k worth of upgrade each car.
Will people get this refunded as well?

Also, going by each player to check which cars he has to see how much money he should be refunded is going to be kinda hard work.

Third: could we have a list of all the cars that will be removed if this goes through?

Obviously a script will be made on first spawn after the update that applies these changes, and will automatically refund money.

Don't replace current sickness cars with tdm cars. Remove all sickness vehicles, Wipe everything, refund, and add all tdm cars.

Then people can decide what they want to do with their refunded money.

Double post 5 minutes later (yay).

Anyways, discovered the issue. The carpentry was named something wrong in your org bank (it's old item name "item_skill_craft_carpentry", but it's renamed to "item_skill_craft_carp" to work with the skill reset npc, i know, it's confusing.)

Anyways, the items you had, has now been renamed. I don't know how it works now that i see you're on the server when this was edited in the sql, but it should work as it just grabs the sql items again next time you open the org bank.

Leaving this open so you can report back. If it doesn't work the first time, try to rejoin, it should work. Either way, leave a reply here again when you've tested again.

Looking at the code, i believe one item is missing the Weight argument. I will look at it now, and report back.

Karma's intention was to support and raise the intention of becoming a towtruck driver.
But this update only raises the DEMAND for them. Not a single reason to actually become one yourself.

This is why hotfix 11.1 should happen: "Citizens can now use the repair NPC again, but only if no towtruck driver is on. If there is one, you can only let him repair your vehicle."
Please make this happen.

Considering towers can now charge 1500 for a fix (which was the price before as well), and then pay 1000 to fix it after the citizen has payed, I'd say that makes it worth it.

With that being said, I thought of the same thing you suggested, but I'm not sure.

If someone shoots your car for no legit reason, report it and if an admin is online, he/she can repair it for you.

Back on topic

I have 2 questions:

1. Now that the talking hand is removed, is there something else to indicate someone is talking? Its extremely important for RP and stuff like people going "Y U SHOOT I WAS TYPING"

2. This new tow thing. What if there's no towtruck driver on? Now people cant even RP push their car to get fixed.

It still shows "Typing..." above your head, like it has always done :)

What if you issue a tow order and the person logs off or re spawns the car?  does the order automatically cancel? if it doesn't it will cause problems.

Why? Your vehicle stays broken, even if you respawn it. If you disconnect while your vehicle is broken, the vehicle will disappear from the towing area, and the tower won't have to worry about it again, until the player rejoins to find his car still being broken.

Nice. So now it'll be even more difficult to get my car repaired. What's the point of spending all my $ on a car if it will just be broken all the time?

The only way your car would actually break down, would be if you hit into walls (as in your driving is shit), or if your vehicle gets shot.

The only way your vehicle would get shot, is if you're running from police (which means you've done some crime rp which is then your own fault), same goes for a civilian shooting it in a raid or something, or if a minge shoots it. 3rd option is against the rules, so you can always request a ban on that.

I don't mean to sounds harsh or anything, but if you're constantly doing Crime RP and running from the cops so your vehicle gets shot, it's truly your own fault and you should find something else to do.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds like having 60 players on a map the size of that in OCRP2 is a bad idea... Houses and places to grow will be first come, first serve and all high paying government jobs will be the same. Not to mention the high volume of traffic causing chaos on the roads and everywhere else. More going on in the server also seems to cause more lag problems for players. Is combining the servers into one really that good of an idea?

We barely had enough players to fill 45 slots if we combined both the servers. It was useally 30 on one server, and 15 on another, at max.

We'll see how this works out, and there's a huge peak in players, the second server is just there, ready to be started again.

So yeah, you already get armor when you're a cop, it's just not visible.

What is the value of this armor? and is it Rank factored?

With this question, i checked the latest code and someone has removed the part that gives police officers armor. I was speaking from what I added on initial release, i was not aware that someone has removed this by now.

So yeah, it's a no for both questions :/.

(Seemingly) Simple suggestion. Just the top hits of the week or something.. while I enjoy the best of Metallica, I can't always listen to it. Sometimes you need a bit of modern pop in your life.

No. He's suggesting a new radio station for ocrp2, like we used to have one called "The Hits".

I already told you this in Steam, Fishy. You need to get a direct broadcast link before suggesting a station.

Dunno why this occurs. It's nothing with the code, the server just needs a restart.

Me and Tom tested it back before ocrp2 was released. It happened when changelevel is used, instead of the quit command.

Possibly the admin restart commands (on the godstick), or the force one when below 15 players?
