From the recent news that Colbat RP has been cancelled, I am starting a new Project called Project Comeback. We need supporters to get this back on. The new RP gamemode I have in mind is a little more simple than Colbat RP. The things that Colbat RP had would really make the game laggy. Now to show that Im serious, Im putting 60 bucks on the table for the gamemode to be revived (i will also add about 100 more bucks later into the project). This is what we need,a person that will code the jobs and other parts of the game (Statua keep finshing that Colbat RP map), and some donations to the Project. I think we should ask Roflwaffle and we can give him the money or the leader of the Project (Whch will not be me someone else). I would also like to take responsiblity of supervision of the project. Together we can get this up by Mid-summer, if we do this together and NOW!
EDIT: Also, new applications and new characters. We are starting off fresh in RP terms
No. Some people don't seem to understand Cobalt is still happening. Just not here. Albert will still finish it and let some other community host it. Rofl has already showed in discussion that he does not have an interest in hosting a serious modern roleplay. So go ahead and restart it, but it won't happen here, so it'll just end up looking like you copied Albert who will end up finishing his gamemode ( supposedly ) and selling it to some other community.

You know......he actually brings up an interesting point. The "complaints," if you will, that he has are ones I hear generally from a lot of new players. Anyone who is new to a community is going to be skeptic of the community and look for the flaws of it rather than the benefits. So as much as you think he might not be in the right place to be complaining, he not only speaks for himself, but for the general opinion of new players to Catalyst Gaming.
The points that he brought up are general aspects that typically drive people away. But at the same time, fixing some of the issues he brought up would drive people away from buying VIP; Physgun is a VIP benefit. And honestly, it is easier for people to have to donate to get a physgun and to spawn props, and to look over Tool Trust applications on the forums than to be looking over everyone and banning people for abusing. I used to be a Catalyst Gaming administrator, and trust me, it's much easier to not have to worry about something because there is a, for the most part, foolproof system in place, than to have to go around constantly spectating the general idiots that join the server and having to ban them. Not to mention the bitching you generally have to put up with when you ban someone. So it may seem easier from your eyes, but it is not.
Anyways, welcome to Catalyst Gaming. I hope this sheds some light. Enjoy your ventures into this ambitious community.

Generally, the need for S2M regarding the Combine decreases as you go up in rank, because augmentation increases the higher the rank you are in the Combine.

You people are the reason that the process of getting servers back online is so slow - you constantly fucking bombard Rofl and the entire administration team with questions, why don't you just grow some fucking patience and wait.
Sorry for saying that but I am fucking sick and tired of question after question - and if I'm tired of it, I can't imagine what Rofl is feeling when he has to answer everyone of you imbecile's questions.
The servers will be up when their up - this happens on a daily basis nowadays. We have issues, we surpass them, but it takes a little bit of patience from community members, and patience includes keeping your pie hole shut.
This is not directed solely at tpunk - he just got me when I was down to my last nerve.

If anything, this journal is for me to vent my thoughts and express my journeys - I've waited too long to start this. However, I hope that, sometime in the future - and hopefully with no Combine existence - someone finds this and learns something from this. History is an aspect needed in human life. You can't survive without it, because you have no cultural or national identity. You are writing history if you're the next generation. Although there are people to tell you stories of the past, who knows what the fuck will happen to people who give a damn - we're few, but we're strong. And who knows what the Combine have planned for us.
My father lived in Tibet during Mao Zedong's "cultural revolution." Soldiers and loyalists would march into towns, hand out pamphlets about Zedong's "New China," get people riled up, and then go into Buddhist temples, take artifacts and throw them in the fucking town square and burn them. They would run around like wild chimpanzees killing Buddhist monks and nuns just for the sake of getting rid of their history. My father had a strong fear of losing the history of Tibet. He kept a red velvet book that he wrote in every night. He would tell of his adventures and vent his thoughts - and throw history in there too. My father was shot and killed by a C.....C......shit, what the hell are they called? The big fucking scary guys in the white suits - talk like robots - fucking killing machines. Anyway, he was killed by one of those trying to help a distinguished local political leader of Croatia escape. I was there, to say the least. Let's just say there were three bodies lying on the ground when I left there. The first was my father, the second the political official, and the third wasn't my fucking body, I'll tell you that, if you get what I'm saying.
When I was a child growing up in the China Town district of Chicago, I used to read this series called Alex Rider. Alex Rider was a teenager that was pulled to work for MI6 - British intelligence agency - at a young age. Good read. Sudden memories. This is pointless.

Not that bad at it - would do a recording of something I can play, but my room is too humid and small for woodwind instruments to get a good sound. Straight A student - with the ability to spit random facts out that no one cares about.

The Sectorial Commander has decided to, after receiving a complaint from Divisional Leader Four-Two-Eight, demote me, at least for the moment as I intend on appealing to him regarding the situation that led to the demotion, to the rank of Zero-Four and relinquish me of my duties in RAZOR, and give me a position in LEGION.
Two civilians were fighting. I tied them and was bringing them to detainment, when a rather large crowd of people started following me. It turned into a comotion where one detainee ended up escaping, but still tied. The other civilian was brought to detainment.
After said incident, the Divisional Leader of ADRENALINE decided to have me partake as pointman number two in a CCH sweep. It went well.

Now that that is out of the way, *puts on serious face* welcome to the community Statua. I hope you enjoy your stay, would be nice to see you get involved. Maybe you could apply for admin within time, but don't jump the gun like it seems everyone else is, as much as you are deserving of admin, there is kind of a requirement to actually play on the servers xD.
