Yeah, Bish, I think you may have linked the wrong pic, assuming that this isn't just a shitpost.

As for root beers, I prefer Thomas Kemper's and Henry Weinhard's, though I don't think you'll see them outside the Pacific northwest.

So, my favorite root beer is http://oi60.tinypic.com/10gbll4.jpg  <=== Probably some of the most original tasting and best flavored root beer I've had other than my own brew.   It's sweet with a good after taste and it has a strong, bold flavor but can still be mild depending on time it was brewed.  They ship it locally around here. 

You may be able to get this soda in other places around the US, but the original and only brewery I know of is in St.Louis Missouri, across the Mississippi river from where I live.

also we try our best to get to as many reports as possible as long as we can act on it and not blindly make a judgement, so players should still continue to gather proof even if admins are on because it helps

there is literally no point in a moderator rank, its pretty much just an admin rank with a different name, also with the fact that it is starting to slowly come up to xmas, we can be very busy with school/college/work/family so we may not always be able to get on and people only get offered admin based on traits, qualities, characteristics, behaviour, etc and its really hard to come across people who would actually fit the rank in HRP
I see the moderator rank as being a lower ranking player that has the abbility to teleport to sits.  They act as witness to the terms of something like RDM being reported. As for the rank iteslf, more ranks means less stress on admins.  They won't have to work as hard but will still be just as usefull.

Create an entity for the light bar and use a combination of gmod_light and gmod_lamp.

Figure out the rest yourself as getting spoon fed isn't the true way to learn LUA.

everyone learns differently, and plus this is a support & help thread, just going "lol figure it out urself" is a dick move

I'm trying to code a car dealer for police...

I haven no idea how to code in lights for the vehicles and am trying to figure it out... if  cannot do that I need help trying make certan cars spawn with the Stigwolf siren from the dealer.

I agree with the tracers being absolute shit - but other then that I really don't see an issue with these guns. I haven't had any performance issues so far, but I'll look in to that.
Could we possibly remove the muzzle flash and replace it with something other than the one it has?

I've been waiting for changes.  I used to play non stop. But it got repetitive and old after so long.  Now that a something other than an addition of planes/boats has happened...

but the weapons that hardly worked that we had before were no problem, right? compared to what we had, i can't see why anyone would think m9k is anything but an improvement.
what don't you guys like about these weapons, anyway? is it just because they're popular? actual criticism would be great instead of "m9k pls no"
From my own experience, they aren't stable.  Feel wrong when using them.  The effects are annoying and sometimes laggy... scratch that... most of the time.  And another fact is that they are used almost as heavly as the reg CSS weps.

Once again just your opinion, and the reason they are laggy is most likely on your part due to download/mounting errors or maybe your computer can't handle there amazing effects (Fuck the stupid tracers hard).

And your point is? You would rather still have the guns that are use just as much? Also this is an invalid point because you are stateing that they are used a lot which is a good thing. This is the PERP shit all over again "We don't want that because it is to much like a PERP server". Can you people just state some reasonable opinion/facts so some shit can get done with what you want changed?
I put up a pack for them to try.  My PC is good and does not have any other problems with these weapons other than the effects. 

One example of the effects being laggy is when you shoot a wall with something like a shotty, it will freeze the game.  Idk if this has been changed though.

And as for the tracers, yes ANNOYING.  There are also very distracting muzzle effects when firing that not only blind the player but can cause extreme lag for lower end PCs.

Also, by wrong... it feels like playing CoD when using these guns.  A lot of the sounds and models ARE from CoD.

So which ones will be "legal" and "illegal" besides the AK and the RPG going to the "illegal" side?

Going by the American gun laws, everything that isn't automatic or military-grade.  If this is true, legal weapons would include:

Bayonet Blade
Colt 1911
Ka-Bar Knife
L42A1
Benelli M4 Super 90
Makarov
SKS

Dragunov SVD may also be legal considering I've seen more than a few online and in gun stores, but it could always be kept as a BMD weapon as it is a considerable upgrade over the L42A1.

EDIT:  Also, something else that came into my head just now:  What if we split the "illegal" weapons into two groups.

The "black market" weapons (Weapons that only a BMD can spawn) would include the AK-47, FN FAL, RPG, RPK, and Dragunov.

The "Coast Guard" weapons (Weapons that only a CG Commander can spawn) would include the M14, M16A4, M249, and RGD-5.

Thoughts?


Use this... I already suggested this for the CG.  Also... I WANT TO BUY MY M249 for my civi.... by far the best gun of irl other than an M60.  CG and BMD should share a few weapons.

This is the first time I've gotten a virus.  It started a few months ago with another post I made about malware.   Something got on my computer somehow and I am having trouble getting rid of it.  I had avast but it ran out and it did not tell me it did for some odd reason.

That's productive.  Thanks.  :/   I've had this PC for about 5 years now.   I clean it out.  But it has just recently been bombed by one virus that I can't find and it just started filling my PC with others.
