Merriam DeSanto's body was left by the C11 CPs to rot outside the sewer maintenance station where they gunned her down. Later, a startup anticitizen gang unceremoniously dumped her bones into a nearby sewer canal, where they were left to drift with the putrid current and be scattered.

Vok'sha'slu eventually returned to the C45 outer canal runoff zone to live in his old home - the canal access building, where Leonard Wong had made the Alliance base so long ago. He lived from day-to-day, helping refugees passing through and hunting the occasional antlion and headcrab for sustenance. One morning, Vok was caught in the open by a Combine hunter-chopper and killed. His death was mourned by the local Resistance and he was given a proper burial with full honors.

Max Mundie became a small-time steroid distributor operating out of the C17 slums. He was stabbed in the gut by an unruly customer and slowly succumbed to his wounds.

Sid Pleasants was driven to drink as an escape from the tedious monotony of daily life in the city. He descended into alcoholism, drinking himself into a stupor every evening in his Union Civil Housing apartment. Pleasants quietly passed away in his bathtub one night and his body was only discovered several days later, after he failed to appear for a routine precinct Civil Inspection.

Devin Serrano traveled the outlands as a wanderer for the rest of his life, making countless friends and enemies along the way. While cruising through the Ineu river valley on an airboat, Serrano and his buddies were ambushed by Overwatch soldiers on the banks. In the ensuing panic, Serrano was knocked overboard and drowned upon being hit by a stray pulse round.

Alongside his companion and comrade 602, Lucas Nakajima (509) rose once again through the ranks of the C17 Civil Authority. As the years trickled by, he became increasingly bitter and disillusioned about his work and about himself as a whole. Nakajima deserted and lived a simple and secluded life in the Ineu outlands, dying as an old man alone but at peace.

IMO you guys should just figure out how to adapt to the new RDT built into the map, rather than cobbling together some shitty looking contraption in the plaza and wasting the neat custom-designed RDT area.

#501 here, I registered on April 2nd, 2011 after playing on the server for a week or so prior... As much as I get annoyed with bits of CG's roleplay stuff, I'm really glad to have been a part of the community. We've had some great fun.

To consume an inventory item in such a situation, it must be roleplayed with /me"s. In case it's not, don't be afraid to request / issue a ban.

Not that I've been very involved in hl2rp lately, but frankly I think that claiming "no elevator in uch waah" is the cause of low activity in P1 is fucking ridiculous.

Again, I'm not active in hl2rp so maybe I'm just clueless. Nevertheless, I would bet anything that the cause of low activity in P1 is pretty complex and tied to the CWU not doing enough to foster loyalist-centric roleplay in P1.

Alright, so I want to say off the bat that:

1. Ozjackal did a great job with the map
2. This is likely impossible to do at this point

Regardless of the mentioned stuff, I think there should be centralized housing for citizens near the plaza (like the UCH). Currently, the hotel has two problems - there are too many floors (disperses traffic) and there is no elevator. The amount of walking required to get to the higher floors is ridiculous. I think this is a reason for the lack of activity in the town square.

Anyways, thoughts?

1. Ozjackal didn't make the map, Apoc did
2. I don't understand the suggestion itself. What is your definition of "centralized?" And just FYI, I don't think we've ever had any elevator in any civil housing block, but the server's kept on going irregardless.
