The only people who would really enjoy the balanced economy OCRP2 brought were the serious RP players.

Which comprises one percent of the OCRP playerbase.

Most people just want to buy cars and shoot shit, run businesses and not cry about getting robbed because they can make the money back with a few weed pots. The older OCRP varieties satisfied that.

I use a Logitech K100. Got it for $10.

Cheap keyboards are great, and all keyboards, regardless of how flashy they are, should last you a LONG time.

#46 here. CG sure is resilient.

I was playing here since early 2010, when it was Skill Gaming. Joined CG when it came out, went inactive for a few weeks, during which accounts were wiped. Remade my account November/December 2010 and I've been at CG ever since, serving as an administrator several times. So...many...memories.

Dr. Aron Wojciechowski will be the Ministry's Lead Historian. His role will be to draft approved educational materials, mainly pertaining to the true history of this world we live on.

Dr. Heinrich Shlitz will be the Ministry's Publisher of Works. His role will be to approve most literature submitted for review by the CWU, the Union Watch, and other Loyalist groups.

Greetings, citizens of City Seventeen. First and foremost, allow me to extend a warm welcome to our vibrant industrial district. My name is Doctor Ezekiel Caldwell, and my chief role will be to interface with all of you. My main goal in this fine city is to make sure all citizens are adequately represented, cared for, and educated to ensure that our proud race is successful in our existence. Please remember, all of us has a job to do. The moment this world was founded by the Union, we were granted a singular purpose: to grow and discover the truth. We are departing from the era of ignorance, from the primitive language of "oldspeak," and from destructive rebelliousness that cost us many lives. And, in order to reach the enlightenment we seek, we must remember our history, from the beginning of the Universal Union to the present day. Therefore, the City Administration will be offering historical media and other educational materials for the good of the people. We encourage all residents of City Seventeen to indulge in the provided material. Thank you.

Spoiler for Hiden:
-Establish public education program.
-Fund the Civil Worker's Union in the distribution of approved materials.
-Maintain a regular media presence.
-Hire Union historians.
Current Projects:
Spoiler for Hiden:
-City Seventeen Education Project - Ongoing.
-Literature Distribution System - Initiated.
-Public Broadcast Routine - To be implemented.
Ministry Members:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Dr. Ezekiel Fillius Caldwell: Director, Ministry of Truth.
Dr. Aron Wojciechowski: Councilman, Lead Historian.
Dr. Heinrich Shlitz: Councilman, Publisher of Works.
About the Director:
Spoiler for Hiden:

Dr. Ezekiel Fillius Caldwell was born on December 7th, 1970. At 17, he graduated from his high school as Class Valedictorian of ’88. His valedictory speech brought tears to the eyes of all of its listeners for Ezekiel wrote it with passion and great detail of his class’ accomplishments. And he had his future planned out as well. He was given scholarships to Yale and Harvard. He studied vigorously at Yale, his college of choice, for the next six years to earn a M.A. in Business and Administration, a Ph.D., as well as a Degree of Law.

Out of Character for OOC:
OOC NOTE: To all CAs interested in joining the Ministry of Truth, please post here with a short introduction of your character. Thanks! Also, prepare speeches or text to be implemented in scripted books.

Accepted HL2RP Suggestions / Re: District Passes
« on: February 23, 2013, 10:12:39 AM »
This is a fantastic idea. I envision a City 17 where a citizen getting access to P1 and the nice Hotel in the area qualifies for bragging rights. To a Loyalist, P1 should be the upper-class, well-protected, crime-free area and should be seen as a reward for serving the Union well.

Bob: "Hey, Joe. I got in to Precinct One!"
Bob shows off his shiny new P1 pass.
Joe: "Darn, maybe if I get enough loyalist points, I can earn my way there too!"
