I was walking through town and apparently I appeared to be slow motion sprinting. Wouldn't be an issue except that I kept getting yelled at by CPs, then having to break rp to fix it. Probably not fixable, but hey- just wanted to let people know that it happens. Can somebody confirm that this was happening to me yesterday?

Why use them? Can't we just ban people for a six months/a year/two years? Sometimes people come back, more matured, wanting to play a game mode seriously. On the other hand, hackers need permabans. Always. Once a hacker, always a hacker. (assuming hacks are malicious)

I feel like something is definately lacking on this server...
The lack of rebel /sentiment/ is fairly astounding. Just about every citizen I see is a loyalist.
You may be asking, "Why is this?" (probably not, but it could be happening)
It's because we have nothing to gain IC by being rebel. While it is maybe "more realistic" that way, or what have you, it does create a bit of a stagnant situation. I'm not saying throw rebels out in the slums with tonsa gunz, I'm just saying, let there be SOMETHING to gain by going into the slums, going against the tides. Maybe open up a place where people can get (holy f**k) alcohol in the slums, or perhaps small pieces of contraband. Maybe it could naturally develop into some sort of rebellious movement, or maybe it just stays the one place were man-sheeps can be "human".
TL;DR, Open up a bar in the slums to promote rebel sentiment and humanism.
I'd be willing to be the bar tender/rum runner/whatever, but I'd rather not be the bartender, not really my gig.

I have a problem with my laptop over the fews days, too retarded (herp-derp) so I accidently spilled some Diet Pepsi over the keyboard. I haven't been on Garrysmod for that long on Catalyst-Gaming. Sorry for all those people who wanted to see me.
...But I am back once more. Later on, I will MAYBE introduce some new skins and yet videos of Half-Life 2... MAYBE, so cross your fingers and just pray to god I ain't too lazy.
Man, I haven't used the pepsi on the keyboard excuse since last saturday, when I forgot to turn in that midterm paper. Always works like a charm. Welcome to the club.

I think the most important thing to remember is to allow time for other players to react to your actions.
Saying "/me runs away" and sprinting off still counts as mingerunning.
Now, if you said something like "/me begins to sprint for the tunnel" and stood and waited for the other player's counter-/me, that would be acceptable.
I can not tell you how many times I've been bitched at by a member simply because I had done something, after they have said /me runs off. I usually just shoot them in the legs.
This, this, a million times this. I can't tell you how many times I've had to deal with idiots doing this in my past of gmod RP. One of the most common annoyances, by far.
