iirc metro 2033 is all underground apart from the surface which is essentially outlands correct? If that's the case, a map would be very possible to combine both civilization and survival into the same server.
The surface is a harsh "Gold-mine", as pretty much things are only worn by time rather than pilfered and salvaged. However the surface is cold as balls, windy, the air is harsh to breathe (it can kill you in minutes), there are all sorts of mutants prowling the surface which have a PHD in killing people, and finally the Kremlin rests on the horizon. As for an 'outlands' server, it would be 90% ranger outposts and 5/5 Reich and Red patrols, then 120% mutants.

Seems well within context. There is no grudge here. It's basically a FPTP system of voting, which is undemocratic at best.

Lol bcas all rp is hl2rp!!! Want to know what HL2RP is based off? 1984. Don't base the new RP off of 1984 and we won't have that fucking problem. Is fallout like HL2RP? NO. It's post-apocalyptic though, thus it's just like HL2RP; or rather under the dominant logic, it's RP thus it is HL2RP. Want some fucking ideas for post-apocalyptic? - We're on a fucking moon and we're cut off from supply lines and such and we have to fucking survive and thrive.
- GMO and pesticides have killed off bees and thus the majority of the world's food, survivalist culture becomes dominant, money loses value. Darwin is king.
- America undergoes civil war, all countries refuse to send-aid. All borders are blocked, America is on its own. Join the war, avoid the war, survive, what ever.
- The bourgeois finally rule, the poor are shipped out to the edges, in districts and camps, the police are privatised, corruption is ripe, the 'utopia' of the rich world is a bureaucratic, clusterfuck. It's governed more by the press and lawyers than police; and the slums are an outland of petty squabbles and white-knighting
- Puritans versus bionics, deus ex style.
- World war 3/4
- Post-burning of the Library of Alexandria
However, they all sound like HL2RP clones when I re-read the list I still wish I could vote for "No serious RP". Because serious RP without drama is soooo 2012.
Oh well, I'm interested to see how this is going to turn out. But if I could bet my money, I'd put it on:
"Whatever vote is going to win, it is going to have a lot of drama because most people wouldn't agree on most things and it will go down the drain soon enough."
Try voting on OCRP or HRP and stay on them? You know, the other options; you're not obliged to vote nor to take-part in the result of the vote. If serious RP is a problem for you, avoid it. Don't go on, to then complain, nor should you take a vital role then never go on, without first resigning. Stay away if you don't like it. Stay away if you don't want it. Treat it like a phobia and you'll be happier for it. We should also change from the undemocratic vote of FPTP to a PR style system; more votes, because if Prison RP fails, my stakes would go into Medieval, however under the current system, Metro or some shit will take its place

Keep in mind, ya know, the limitations and the scripts of GMOD, so to get something that 'wasn't as unique as we thought it was' will be taxing to say the least, it's a bit like comparing DnD campaigns, the system will be the same, but the campaign itself is what makes it great. As for 'Just don't cry about it when/if it turns out it wasn't as unique as you thought it was.' it gives no degree to uniqueness nor deviation of uniqueness. For instance I expect PrisonRP to be 124U (U means unique  ) Even if it was 123U, it wouldn't be as unique as I thought it was, even if the deviation is marginal. However, knowing CG, even if there was similarity between HL2RP and PrisonRP, even if we had new EVERYTHING, the old formula will arise — The A just like CPs! The B is just like the Combine! The C are just like citizens in the slums! The D are just loyalists! Et cetera. Comparatives can and always will be made and more often than not.

Prisons could follow lots of systems from films or books; could Battle Royal or Condemned that shit;
A prison ran by the inmates and the guards go in to search for guns and shit or to prevent escape, they also patrol the outside (Always outnumbered, never out gunned);
A massive pool of corruption and despotism, where guards are everywhere but don't do much, apart from be cunts.
And if you sit in your cell complaining and only doing passive, you're part of the problem, sure make toilet brew, but at least do some shit with it. But it would possibly benefit from a less controlling auth system
Medieval RP would be interesting if it was fantastical (Non-Tolkien); elements like Arcanum has; technologists and Mages, alchemists and smiths, sorcerer kings and brutal beasts; even lovecraftian shit would be great.

If people will be using playx, i think the only videos allowed to be viewed would be old movies on YouTube. Is rather not cruise on into the strip club and see people watching letsplays...
Music is a different story as the war happened in 2015 so anything up to then would be acceptable, depending on what kind of player they have and where they got the cds, tapes, maybe even usb from.
PlayX has radio props, which only play sound and show no video. The downside is only one player can persist at once, and all the others must be copies of the main; all subordinates must be of the same type (if it is a radio). I.e. Radio, subordinate radios. Video player, subordinate videoplayer and radios.

PlayX is already in the server; it works on a lot of links, including those of porn websites.

Had to read this over a few times. Might be better if you checked your grammar and spelling a bit.
I'm not sure how it could be coded so onto certain people can see the effects and if you can switch it on and off. I'm the type of person who uses default shaders and textures on minecraft, so...
Might be an okay idea. I'm not a fan of lens flares and bloom and such, but maybe some people are.
Durgz mod applies effects when you take drugs, the effect wears off after a while or if water is consumed. It is possible. Some of the effects look like that could represent the auras of migraines or the feeling of a hella hangover. As for lens-flare, it is possibly one of the worst additions to a game ever considered; it is only acceptable if you're piloting a mech or you're wearing a battle-suit with a visor. I have mega long eye-lashes that catch the sun and blind me in any sunlight, I can see all of my eyelashes if it's off to the side but that's nothing like the assault of brightness that is lens flare. Combined with bloom it's like a kick in your eyes' bollocks.

You can't resize props in PAC. You can resize sprites and certain models ex. the PAC prop ball, the first thing that spawns when you spawn a prop, and you can resize your character. However, you can't change the size of most things.
Every single prop/item i've ever used I could scale; unless it's a clockwork related issue.
