.:The Golden Horde:. BackGround/What we do: The Golden Horde was the western part of the Mongolian empire during the 13th century; the Mongolian expansion was the largest military expansions in History, with millions falling under the Horde. Following the methods of the Golden Horde, we are a military organisation that believes in the conquest of EvoCity and all other organisations that stand against us, and we strongly believe in honor and death. All have equal chance of joining the organisation, but they must show themselves to be skilled, only the best fighters will stay and rise up the ranks, and once at the position of Rider all members have equal rights, and a fair share to the spoil of war.
In this org, we are all brothers of the horde, with the Khan as our leader, we show no fear in battle, and we show no mercy on our enemies. Ride with courage, and ride to victory.

In each 4 levels of status, there are 4 different points in each level. From best to worse its Green, Orange, and Red. Active [Active/Active]- You are in good standards and play often. Inactive[Inactive/Inactive]- You are starting to not be on often and don't do much, start to play more often to go back to good standing. Being Watched[Being Watched/Being Watched]-This means you have been banned, very inactive, or etc... You are close to being kicked out of the organization. Awaiting votes- This means you have passed all of your chances and your spot on the roster depends on the votes among your fellow organization members.
Rank Positions This is a list of the ranks describing what each one does Khan: King Of Kings, has final say over all issues, but is required to listen to all Riders and Noyans equally Noyans: Generals and advisors of the Khans, advise on situations like war, punishment of members and various other things Riders: General Members, they have equal rights to Noyans and Khans related to every day decisions, and may vote on more important decisions such as alliances etc. Foot Soldiers: New recruits that have not earned the rank of rider, they have entitlement to weapons in raids, but cannot vote on decisions and follow orders from any higher members

Ranking up: To rank up in the organisation and become a Noyan you must prove yourself to the Khan in combat, and show on multiple occasions that you are worth as a leader and a good fighter; there can however only be three Noyans at a time, if the Riders believe that someone else would serve as a better Noyan a vote can be called to replace the current Noyan. Rules dictating raids: The spoils of war will go to the person who puts in the most work, you will get pick of weapons if you, supplied lock picks or materials beforehand, based on the kills you get or anything else you may have done to help the raid, if you did not help during a raid you do not have rights to any of the spoils. If you get weapons from a raid though, but you do not need the extra guns, or the ammo, it is considered respectful to give it to members who are in need of equipment, but it is not necessary to do so if you do not wish to.
Do what you need to win a raid, but do not kill those who cannot defend themselves, and do not fight without honor, and keep fighting until you die. Only in rare circumstances do I permit members to retreat from battle, but in most cases I expect every member to keep fighting until they cannot fight anymore, even if they are the last man standing.
Rules You MUST abide by these rules! If you break any of these rules, you will be punished! Punishments vary. Higher Offenses 1. Fighting without honor, using trickery or killing someone unfairly, while they are deemed defenseless. 2. Killing or stealing from a brother, he is your closes friend while you fight with him, and should be treated thusly. 3. Greed, if you take what you do not deserve from a battle, you will be punished harshly, we stand for the gain of the Horde, not for personal gain. 4. Do not assist other organisations without strict permission from the Khan, all other organisations are enemies until proven otherwise, do not associate with them unless necessary 5. Following rule four, do not let others into the base without permission from either the Khan or one of the Noyans Lower Offenses 6. Disobeying a higher authority – this is only punishable if you disobey and it negatively effects the organisation, you may disobey higher members, if you think they are making a mistake. 7. General respect – Banter is allowed and encouraged, but overall be kind to some extent with your brothers 8. Show respect to others outside the organisation – even our enemies deserve are respect, do not boast about your skill to them, or be arrogant about our victories, be modest and kind to others and do not show unnecessary aggression 9. Keep trade internal, buy guns and ammo off fellow members, you will get better prices and help stimulate internal growth, buying from other organisations feed our enemies, only do it if there is no one else to buy from 10. Do not hold unnecessary grudges, if we are defeated in battle, do not hate the victor, praise him for his valiant performance

Status will be put to Being Watched Examples: banned for a short time, obsessive fail driving and etc... ************************************************************************************************************* Third Offense "Time Out" The player will be locked in a room for a certain amount of time. Status will become Being Watched. Examples: messing around a lot, banned for a longer period of time, etc... ************************************************************************************************************* Fourth Offense "Pay Out" Depending on what you did,you will have to pay for what you with either money or items. Friendly Organizations/Players
If we become friends with another group, we may, or they may, call to create an alliance. During an alliance there will be no combat between the two organisations, and a set of rules will be drawn up by the Khan and the other organisation leader for the members of each organisation. For the alliance to be maintained both organisation must show commitment to each other, and prove that in combat they will protect each other.

How to join: I believe that applications are too easy, and don’t show much about people. If you wish to join you must write out your own reasons why you feel you deserve a place in the Golden Horde, and you must explain what you can bring to the group. If your ‘essay’ isn’t good enough you will not be granted a place as a foot soldier, and I will judge the quality of your writing when making my decision. Do say if English isn’t your first language, as I don’t want people to have a disadvantage when applying.

.:Red Army Faction:. BackGround/What we do: A long time ago I made a organization called "Red Army". However, it didn't last long, and disbanded. Then a few months later, I renamed it "Red Army Faction". We did well and we were dominate, we later formed an alliance with The Anti Pride and The Gangsters, or as known as RAGA. We could not be stopped, players bowed to our feet, however, due to a few events, I decided to go a different approach and form a more, non aggressive organization called Fallen Brotherhood. Fallen Brotherhood did quite well, we were a large and organized organization, we disbanded several times and reformed rather quickly and a couple months ago we disbanded completely as I saw we were growing soft, I was not active, and such, don't get me wrong, I liked leading Fallen Brotherhood, but I thought it would be more exciting if we approached it in a different way and go back and reform Red Army Faction with all that I know now from Fallen Brotherhood, as well as all the tactics and such I have learned, mixed with what I know from Red Army Faction. We do things such as grow, raid, mug, passive rp events, and much, much more! This organization is about having fun as well as dominating our opponents in a organized manner so it doesn't get out of hand. Higher ranks means they can tell you to do things and such, however, they can not abuse this. Everyone still gets equal shares in raids and what not and are treated with respect as with any other member. Our organization colors are Red, White, and black, so on one of your cars put one of these colors in, or a mixture of them, a organization car may come later.

Hello;
My name Jacob, however most know me by the name of CrazyNinja as that's my gaming name. I've played back in Orange Cosmos, then it went down and soon after Catalyst Gaming was born. I started playing here near the beginning of the launch of OCRP. I've had a lot of good, as well as bad memories here. I used to be an administrator here at one point as well, but a lot of you know what happened and I'd rather not explain it all over again. I know near the end of my departure I made a lot of players, as well as staff angry by doing things I shouldn't of due to some events which I apologize for. Not going to name anything as I would like to put all of that behind me and start anew. I've made a lot of friends in this community, as well as enemies. I've been doing a loto f different things since I left Catalyst Gaming, playing at other Gmod communities, other games, as well as other things.
I've always been excited for the launch of OCRP2 however and I stopped in every now and again on the forums to check on it's progress. I read the thread about it's launch right around the corner, and figured I'd make a official return thread letting you know that I will be playing here once more. Also, Owencobs spoke to me and I was able to get Trial DJ back, so I'll be setting all of that back up soon and DJ here again as well. I've also decided that I will be remaking my OCRP organization as well, thanks to Owencobs for some motivation, so get ready to see that in action as well. I don't know how much time I'll have to play OCRP2, DJ, and so fourth seeing as I'm also busy with other things, not going to name what. Anyways, I'm usually on all day so I'm sure that won't be a issue. So yea, I'm back.

Well, ever since I got my new PC, I have been having issues. For a few months though, it seemed to be doing ok, but then all of a sudden, it just started being shit again. I can;t even play a game for around 5-10mins without crashing now. My games are crashing. I'll be in Gmod and it will crash saying it stopped responding. Even steam will crash, won't even say stopped responding, it will just disappear and I have to log back in. Sometimes when I'm on Gmod it will minimize and Ill get a message saying "NVIDIA user experience driver comp... has stopped responding." I also get a lot of different blue screens as well. My computer has a bad case and the air circulation is bad, but it hasn't been as hot lately. Plus I have the case open and blow a fan on it. Well, I've been taking pre-G.E.D courses fr the past couple of weeks and I'm on my last portion of the test, which is a essay portion. I'm not that good at writing essays. So what I need for someone to do is, I will type out the Essay format that I need to follow and I want perhaps one of you to type out an essay so I can look at it and use it as a reference for my own essay. The test will be tomorrow and I need to write a 200-250 word essay. Here's the format/reference I was given. Feel free to use the same topic on the reference or make your own.
The Five Paragraph GED ESSAY Topic: Everyone sometime in their life wishes for something. If you had three wishes, what would you wish for? First Paragraph-Introduction Topic Sentence. List three wishes (always list three things you are going to talk about no matter the topic.)
Be brief and keep them parallel.
Example: If I had three wishes, they would be to get good education, to be financially secure, and to own my own business.
(This is where you would list your own wishes.) Second Paragraph-First Wish In this paragraph you will only write about the first wish. Always answer the question "why" and don't be afraid to use examples and details. This paragraph should be between 4-6 sentences long. Hello, it has been around 2 months since my "Farewell Catalyst Gaming" post ( http://www.catalyst-gaming.net/index.php?topic=14518.0), and around 3 months that I was last active on the servers. I am here to say that, yes, I have returned. Why have I returned? A few reasons, a saw a couple of players I've known for awhile get administrator, like OwenCobs. Plus the announcement of OCRP 2. I figured why not, I fixed my computer had I have plenty of time on my hands. I mostly just needed a break from CG for a couple of months. I'm currently in the process of downloading all the games needed to play Gmod without errors and then I'll download the stuff needed for the servers and what not. So yea, I'm back. Hi.

Hello, I recently got a somewhat new computer from my brother. He gave me his old computer, that still worked completely and made him a new one. He took the hard drive out however so I had to put my same hard drive in the new one I got. My brother formatted my computer other then steam. However, when I started up a game, after 30minutes or so then my game would crash on me and say "not responding." So I formatted it completely and put everything back on it and had my brother look at it and what not. Then I started to get blue screens and crash, I figured it was over heating and put new fans and shit in it, which fixed the blue screens. Right now however, my steam games crash within 5 minutes or on start up on me. I installed a game I had on a disc (call of duty WaW). It crashed within 30-40 minutes and then after I closed the "stopped responding" a error message popped up saying "Unhandled exception caught." Now, I have formatted my computer multiple times, did tests on everything in my computer, and all kinds of shit to try to get it to work again. Everything should be working great, but it isn't. I don't know what to do. I alsoat one point thought it was my hard drive, but the tests came back good.

Play this before readingTried to find a suitable youtube video Hello, many of you know me here at CG. You may know me as a friend, that "once a administrator", a enemy, or what have you. I am here to say, that I will no longer be playing on CG servers. Let alone Gmod. Why you may ask? The reasons behind this is due to my lack of interest in OCRP, and Gmod itself, I will also be buying various games for my playstation 3 in May, so I'll probably take a break and play on there, plus the fact I'm having multiple problems with my computer constantly. I will most likely stay active on the forums just to see whats up and if I ever have interest in Gmod again I may stop buy the OCRP server or what not. I will also be doing things irl as well. I have played Gmod ever since around 2007-2008, somewhere around there with thousands of gameplay, not something I'm proud of, but I've had a lot of good moments on Gmod, and some of those experiences happened here at CG. I also know a lot of you most likely don't like me but I appreciate the "hate" comments not to happen on here. I would like to thank a select few as well:

Raiden: You have given me a lot of good advice and a few good experiences. Quarantine: You and I have had a lot of fun here at CG. Most when you were in my organization and some when not. Barosan: I've known you for quite some time now, and we have had plenty of fun here at CG. I always liked your accent for some reason. Ninja'd: We have also had a lot of fun here at CG, mostly on OCRP and on gmod party. You have been a good and trustworthy friend. DeathByKittens: I have known you for awhile now and we have had a lot of good times on OCRP. AcornMan: We had a lot of enjoyable moments and also made a lot of enjoyable ATV courses. GreaterThanEqual: I've had a lot of good times on OCRP with you, mostly when you joined my organization. Darthwill: I've only known you for a little while when you first joined my organization, but you became a trustworthy friend and we have a lot of fun moments. St Panda King: We have had a lot of good moments, you as well had a good accent. XD. Its Max Blad: You also have a good accent. Anyways, we have had a lot of good times on OCRP as well, I think we laso played together since OC as well. Teh Penguin: We have had a lot of fun both here at CG and a lot of other communities. CrackStealer: I've known you since OC and we have had a lot of fun at CG and other places. Sorry for anyone I missed. I hope to see you all around in the future. Basically which game are you looking forward most out of those 4 games? If the one you want isn't on there then don't vote nor post. I know starhawk is a ps3 only game but I played the beta and I think it's fun so I though I'd add it.
