IC Character Name: Brandon Busch
1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.Ever since Brandon Was a young lad, he has seen all the men and women putting their lifes and time on the line to further better the lives of all citizens. And from this prespective, he had gained respect for all the men and women in the Combine Civil Authority. And from there on out Brandon took it upon himself to one day be apart of the robust and efficient CCA he sees patroling the streets and coming out of the nexus. By doing good deeds through out the city, most of them going unnoticed or unappreciated, Brandon has became a generous and trustworthy citizen because of this. Knowing of the raw power and strength of the combine he knew he should show respect and devotion to the group that took over the earth in seven hours.
Being in the minority group, brandon was hated by mostly everyone other than the few other good citizens. But he knew he shoudnt let the comments get to him because they were not worth the effort. So he took to Training himself on the ability to block out the rude comments and it made his life easier to pursue his dream. With this new found skill, Brandon continued on to contribute all he could to his community to make the lives of all citizens better and enjoyable.
While going through his normal life, doing good deed's, he would occasionaly get compliments from officers. These words of kindness and motivation would not only make his day and make him work harder on whatever he was doing but it also fired up his ambition to one day join the Civil Combine Authority. With his hard working attitude and positive perspective on life he does his part, and other slackers, for what he cares for, the welfare of the people. Knowing that being a good citizen comes with no special treatment or extra perks still dosent change his attitude about being one and Brandon proudly announces his status as a good citizen and .
2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)Brandon is a very humble gentleman. And once he swares his loyaltiy he keeps to his word. Brandons ablity to listen plus his Intellegence further adds to his ability to improvise and make rash decisions quickly on his feet. He is also considered a good listener and a fast learner.
3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.I expect this job to be fully demanding and strenuous due to the high responsibility given. But with hard work comes great payoff. I expect the CCA to be fun and a great experience. I plan to rp correctly and also have memorial moments that i could later look back at and laugh. Later on down the road i expect to be working my way up the grid division.
Brandon will be honored by the chance of even applying let alone being accepted for an interview. It has been his dream to one day to be a part of the Combine Civil Authority, and every day he becomes closer to it. He will be a little scared at the thought of being inside of the nexus for the first time, but Brandon will not hide and he will overcome his fears to anwser the questions of the interview to his best ability. When Brandon becomes an officer, at first he may be overwhelmed and obviously scared, but later he will reform and become a well oiled addition to the CCA
4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.Brandon was born on a day like most other days, the sun was shining, and the cool crisp novemember breeze was blowing. Being born in a general hospital with all the other babies that were birthed that day, Brandon was brought into this world with no problems or birth defects. He spent most of his life in the backwoods of Kentucky. With a population of only two hundred and sventy people, news was spread around fast, and everyone was nice.Having being rasied in the country, Brandon had learned the ideal of common courtesy, respect for girls, and how to treat people being courteous. And that is a major part of who he is.
Growing up with almost nothing and not traveling to places or having vacations was hard growing up but he got through it. Because of this he learned to appreciate what little things he had. This also conrtibuted to his outlook on life. Even when his father divorced his mother, Brandon's attitude nor his personality didn't changed. He just continued on with his life like nothing changed. Never holding grudges and not living in the past is how Brandon lived his life. He never had regrets for anything he did. "Love the life you live, live the life you love.", Brandon always said that.
Then came the combine. Because his town was small and the good old country folk didnt mind to much as first, the combine easily just occupied the city. After they occupied the city the combine then began to evacuate the the populations into trucks that would take them to their new home. Brandon was loading into a truck headed for city forty-five. While looking around the truck he couldnt find his mother so he began to look out of a small hole in the truck in search for his mother. Brandon did find her, getting loaded onto a truck heading for city twenty-seven. As he watched as his mother was shipped away, Brandon was saddened by the thought of his mother being alone. But knowing his mother, she would only want Brandon to do what is best for him. So he came to city forty-five with only his newly asigned jumpsuit and the motivation of his mothers will, to start a new life and be the best man he could be.

7. What�s your most memorable quality RP experience?I was playing on another Hl2rp server and i was a citizen walking down the street. I later ran into a group of civilians in a line facing another group of CCA officers also facing them and in a line. The civilians were protesting the officers about them killing an old lady in the middle of the streets. The officers gave constant warning and noone would budge, so they began to shoot into the line and i sat there the whole time and watched as 12+ characters got killed and later pk'd. Then an officer came up to me and said "Citizen. /me pats on the back and then walks away.

So instead of impeding and slowing down positive progress, I wish to be a part of that process that helps both the combine in their efforts, and the citizens in their lives. I have been working towards my goal of one day becoming a Combine Civil Authority and help the citizens of City 45.
