You might want to post a new thread if you really want that to get more attention and have people discuss about it specifically.

I'm sure the majority of you know exactly what I'm talking about.

For those you that don't: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104491619&searchtext=Metropolice

It is a Metropolice Model Pack that goes to the tune of about 30 HD models for units.

My dad is also curious about your model 629.  How modern is it?  ie is it 629-<insert number>?

It's a 629-8.

No it's a semi automatic and that is a barrel extension not so much a suppressor. If that barrel extension wasn't there then it would be considered an SBR, which thanks to the terrible politics of Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer would be considered illegal in my state.

Well, I bought the parts I mentioned above, and HOLY DONKEY BALL SHIT this is soooo much better!
Fresh windows install on the SSD, while keeping all other shit on the HDD. Best thing ever!
I don't even know what ReconPWN did wrong, but the difference between HDD and SSD on startup is just... *BONER*

Yeah the start ups are faster, I never really was bothered with that. I was more dissapointed with the minimal boost of speed navigating the programs I had on it. Regardless as long as it's a big enough difference for you then my opinion doesn't really matter.

On a side note you really got your parts fast did you ship them or pick them up at a location?

There were results, obviously my startup time and overall navigation speed did improve. But I was not impressed with the speed and as I saw it was not worth the amount I payed for it.

Buying a second GTX 670 is actually not that bad of an idea if you're willing to deal with SLI and its handicaps, which are arguably ironed out by now.

Here is some information I found about how that set up compares to a more expensive and modern card.

Like Monkey said it would be wise to invest in a new powersupply. I would suggest a modular one so you can pick and choose which power cords you want in your PC and save space where a second graphics card would occupy.

Just to give you my two cents I bought a 840 EVO SDD and the "speed" boost that everyone claims to have over a regular HDD did not impress me in the slightest. I also didn't hesitate to return it and get ~$200 back.

The motherboard and the processor is an easy find, obviously you should stick with intel since you're already using their products and experienced with their motherboard layouts. Just do some research and watch some benchmarks to make sure you know what you're getting.

Also make sure you have some pretty good airflow in your case because those two cards will heat up like no ones business.

I present to you... a teaser for some upcoming trading cards of characters/items/locations/events/abilities in HL2RP. This isn't designed to be a real trading card game (nothing is balanced and most of the card effects are for humor) but it might serve as a good memento to some people.
Citizen cards
Resistance cards
Union cards

Spoiler for Hiden:

Keep it going

C45.CCA.S4-01.605: During the riots at City 17 he was treating injured units within the walls of the CWU Clinic when he was abruptly shot multiple times from behind. The security footage which was later erased showed an individual walking away from the scene sporting an S4 Uniform.

Andrew Stevens: Got a paper cut on his index finger from a book he was reading then looked out the window to see everyone in a riot. He died a few moments later from a heart attack provoked by the autism he saw.
