I feel stupid for not knowing about the Diablo game series. It all looks sexy to me and I'm loving it. However, my computer sucks and I'll lag to hell with any good game I put in  :'( you're all blessed by god.

Eric Sanchez's Civil Authority Application

IC Character Name: Eric Sanchez

1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
Eric Sanchez has been beaten and spat on is whole life, mostly from his attitude toward people. He would get in trouble almost weekly ending up with bruises, cuts and sometimes injuries. Personally, he wants to be the one with the power, but he would never admit it to others. This was a small want, but soon grew bigger after anti-citizens act almost daily, resulting in ration deduction and curfew, having Civil protection tear up his apartment weekly before he was transfered

Eric also wants to join because of personal matters back in his previous life. Eric lost his wife from a random burglary of a truck load of college kids armed with bats and knives, one with a handgun. He watch his sister die right in front of him from this and the police arrived outside before they slit his throat. Eric from that point on, would pick fights with people that he believes deserve it. After a half a year, he wasn't as picky as he was before.

Although personal matters drove him to his new dream job, Eric missed the rush of a fight every now and then, starting to think ending a life dull was nerve racking. Eric would punch an officer if he could, till he saw a public amputation in City 18 before transferring to City 45. The loud noises, the adrenaline pumping, the near death experiences were what made his life joyful and makes him want to get up in the morning and just piss someone off.


2) Please detail your characters traits. (Eg, Pure, Lawful, Trustworthy)
 Eric Sanchez is known for being a smartass from his previous and present life. However, even though he lacks in serious looks, he does take his job seriously, in previous jobs, he's been beaten, spat on, kicked etc. Eric can be trusted, but from a third person view, he is difficult to be trusted. He also has high endurance and agility from experiences from his previous life, both a kid and adult.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
For Eric, he will be seriously changed as the higher ups show little to no emotion and won't exactly welcome his personality with open arms. He will go under serious training, learning all the laws for him and Citizens, radio codes, combat in several situations, and how to change his usual attitude to take the job more serious, although he already does. He is also expected to show respect to his higher ups no matter what they do to him, higher ups, and must be capable of setting an example for others. As an RCT, he will be treated poorly to build up character and attempt to tame his emotions. He will get irritated, mad, or will make smartass comments and jokes because of this just to make himself laugh.

Outside of the Nexus/CCA HQ, (If he ever gets the permission or authority) he will have to patrol designated routes and what he's doing and where, which will irritate him, but can get used to it. Eric will also have a bit of a lightened attitude feeling a bit more free with a purpose to do something he loves, to be able to fight back more effectively when he needs to, people hate CCA except most loyalists, and will probably pick a fight out of no where, not knowing any better. Eric will only have access to a stunstick and at times a pistol for training purposes which means he will need to train effectively and put a good example to his higher ups if he wants to join the ranks.

4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
Eric Sanchez was born February 21, 1986 in Murphy, California. As a child, he was bullied by school kids and his older brother at times, fighting back every now and then. In 2007, his parents' died from a car accident, reported to be drinking and driving. His 15 year old sister was taking into legal custody by Eric and took care of her. After two years of barely paying his bills and keeping food on the table, college kids raided his house stealing almost everything, then raped and killed his little sister. They didn't have a real reason why they would kill her, and that's why that made him even more infuriated. After going into a 6 month depression involving minor drinking habits, he found his smartass attitude return from its shunned position from the back of his head from caring for his sister and started getting into more fights and begin his somewhat happy life. It wasn't till after the seven hour war he moved on from his sister's death. His brother and the rest of the Sanchez family were either amputated or were transferred to other cities. Eric has only has a week of experience with side arms (Of actual use), since he had to carry one every time he left his house and have a run in with the police every so often back before the seven hour war, having made enemies up to the hundreds. Eric lacks the emotion for his entire family, losing all ties with them. By 2014, he had forgotten the names of everyone he knew, except his sister's. His lack of passion and Happiness is due to the fact he had lost knows for so long and believe it to be too good to be true. Eric's entire life was worse than it was being a citizen in City 18 and city 45. He acted like he was suppose to, avoiding attention of the Civil protection and sometimes just walked in circles for an hour. Eric soon decided to give his life some purpose and attempted to be accepted in the City 18 CCA. His attempt failed sadly, as the City 18 had already reached their limit in CP openings, one for each citizen. Soon he was transferred for a reason he doesn't know, and didn't care enough to bother. Eric is now a Citizen of City 45.

I haven't been a CP on this server before.

On a previous server. My Civil protection division teamed up with an Overwatch to sweep the slums after it was shelled for high anti-civil activity. There was some fighting between zombies vs rebels vs Combine  Forces. Got in to a detailed hand to hand combat scenario with a fast zombie (played as an admin) and a rebel where I get thrown out a window and break my leg. We don't do that roll stuff we just PTL and PTM

(IC) Personal reasons I rather not say, but if anything, I want my life to have purpose. I have skills from my old life experiences and all I'm doing is leaving my apartment every now and then to get my rations and go back to bed. Hey lets mix things up a little and go to a vending machine this time! (The writing seems to get a bit worse as he continues, showing signs of irritation. He writes more clearly as he goes on, calming down) I just feel useless. I would tell you my life story, but you guys don't care anyway.
