While creating such additions it's painfully required to consider the map's limits as well as the limits of the source engine. As I'm aware there's a predefined limit on things such as brushes and such that would eventually fill up as you're adding new things, yes? As a roleplay server it's important to cater to all sorts of roleplay. Most things like barracks can be done with some clever prop-work and not have to take up any of the map's available resource pool, thus letting said resources go to better things that could benefit the entire server.

Back to catering to all roleplay, it's important to sort of split the map's additions up "evenly". Not in a mathematical sense, but in a sense that if it doesn't contribute to the roleplay and such of multiple people, and types of people, it might not be worth it to waste resources on it. Instead, they could go to an addition to a building in a place that would aid everyone in their roleplay. Adding dozens of rooms onto the Nexus would be nice for the units and all, but that can be done with clever prop-work, and the majority of people who aren't units would never see those rooms, and thus, their roleplay would not be increased or altered at all after the addition of said rooms, wasting potential resources.

When you cater too much to one faction or group of people, the others will become restless and unhappy. It's important to find a nice middle-ground.

Social Discussion / Re: School grades

A large part of maintaining good grades, as well as study habits and the like, has to do with your mentality regarding school. You've got to at least attempt to enjoy studying and such, or rather, to put up with it without complaint. I've got a fairly high grade-point average, and I definitely don't enjoy much of what I have to do, but I just tell myself it'll be worth it in the coming years when I'll hopefully be offered scholarships and the like.

As others have suggested, if it's a subject like Spanish, you should make a sheet containing your vocab words on one side, and the definition on the other. Our teacher made these for us, but if yours doesn't, it's always an excellent idea and you can study off of it easily by simply folding it in half. An example of what I mean: perro - dog.

If you're having trouble with a homework assignment, you could always try confiding in some friends, real-life or online, for help. I've got a friend on Steam that's from Spain, quite possibly one of my best friends too, and he helped me out a lot. We had Spanish conversations and he taught me how to improve after each one. In some cases, the comforting affection a friend can provide will aid in learning far easier than a teacher's sort of regulated demeanor.

Hence why I said "if done correctly."

Stuffing them into a room or making them wait on the wall for hours isn't doing it right. There's got to be an active protagonist or antagonist, or simply one or more people consistently creating roleplay for the huddled mass of citizens. In an ideal situation they'd all flourish and their roleplay would blossom among one another, but it appears it normally takes some nudging, or simply someone willing to go all out and make the situation interesting. If you don't have people actively causing roleplay and interaction amongst the people, they'll simply run around, sit in a corner alone, and eventually disconnect.

During my stay at other communities, there's been some good events that've stuck with me.

One, during the time I was in SHIELD, a medical squad, we set up an outpost in the canals and, in a humanitarian effort, allowed the rebels to come and surrender any weapons and vests they had. We fed them and sent them back to the city unharmed. A lot of the more known rebels came, but the objective of the event wasn't to continue some petty faction deathmatch, but to create roleplay. We had quality passive roleplay for several hours before the event eventually ended.

Also, it's important to remember how drastically weather can effect the environment. It's something that most people fail to roleplay, but it can really bring people together if done correctly. Blizzards, storms, hurricanes and such. Maybe a group of citizens and units get snowed into a building and have to ration supplies till they find a way out, eventually learning to trust eachother, etc.
