1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
     Alex Nelson has always been loyal to the Universal Union. When the Seven Hour War started, he hid. But as he was hiding, he knew who was going to win. He felt safe knowing that the Universal Union was going to take care of him and his town. He was happy that a new life for Earth was about to begin, a life without war, famine, and disease.

     After the Seven Hour War was over, he hoped on the train to City 64. He began to gain the trust of the CCA over there, but, before he could apply to join the CCA, he was informed that he would be transferred to a new city. He was very sad by this notion, but he knew he had to continue. As he got on the Train, he said goodbye to all the people he held dear.

     He had to start over again, gaining the trust the CCA. He was so determined, he would go out of the way for the CCA. After a while of gaining their trust. One of the CCA members recommended him to join. So, he went to talk to the CCA, and was handed a forum. He was very happy from this opportunity. He scurried back to his Apartment.

     Alex Nelson is a loyal, trustworthy, and a great listener. He is always looking for opportunities to prove himself to his peers and Superiors.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
     Playing RP is a great way to escape real life, and I've always loved to play it. One of the things I love most about HL2 RP is that the Combine Civil Authority is a great position of power. Playing RP is about making difficult definitions that could result in life or death. That being said, joining the CCA would be a great structural influence that I need.

     Alex Nelson has always been interested in the CCA. He wants to have a superior and wants to help his city. Alex wants to help his fellow man by giving them a structural systematic society. Joining the CCA would be great for Alex, because he has always lacked structural balance in his life.

4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
     Alex was 26 the time the Seven Hour War hit. He hid in his basement, hoping not to die. Soon, to his peers, he began talking about how the Universal Union was good for Earth, talking about how we brought this on our selves. He stated that he had dream't a day like this, and how it would be OK. After the seven hour's had passed, he emerged to find Combine waiting for him. He walked towards the combine without a second thought. After he walked out, his friend followed, than another, soon the entire basement was empty. Alex was soon on a train to City 64, waiting for his new life to begin.

     Once arrived at the city, he began his new life selling goods and helping the CCA. He was always loyal to the CCA, giving them free things whenever they felt the need to have something. He became a well-known person. Although he was well-known, he was moved to this city.

     After he arrived into the city, a CCA agent stooped him, and moved him against the wall. The CCA agent took him to the back room, and took his mask off. It was an old CCA agent he had known from before in City 64. The CCA agent laughed had Alex. Alex, knowing that he wasn't in trouble, was actually in relief that he wasn't in trouble. The CCA agent recommended Alex to his superior. Some time later after buying an apartment and settling in, it was time for him to meet with the superior handed Alex a forum. This is when he knew that he had something good coming for him. After taking the forum grinning at the superior and saying "Thank You", you walked to his apartment. After opening the door to his apartment, he closed the door and sat down and began filling out the forum.

No, I have never been a CCA character before, and nor was I ever removed from being one.

     I was on Taco 'N' Banana's Terminator RP, and a person I met asked me if I would like to explore the sewers. I said yes and as we left people turned towards us saying: "Good Luck" and "Be Safe". We found a small entrance into the sewers and soon explored. We didn't find anything useful but the atmosphere was amazing.
