Title: Video cards for under 250 dollars? (serious thread)
Post by: ??. McBullet on December 17, 2011, 09:31:25 PM
So, my parents decided to give me 250 dollars for Christmas. I am one happy kid. Now, I need a solid suggestion about upper-mid range to high-end video cards I should be looking for. I currently have the Nvidia GeForce 560TI Superclocked in mind.

My friend has the same one Rofl suggested. He has some excellent graphics on anything he plays. I highly suggest it.

If you make that much, Mr. Moneybags, why don't you give me the 20 dollars you promised?

Anyway... I found this 2GB 560 Super-clocked card. It's got the KR tag, meaning a limited warranty. Which one would be better? A 1gb card with a lifetime warranty or a 2gb card with a limited?

Because I said if I had it on me at the time, I've got other things to pay off like my phone bill or insurance. Not all my money can go to randoms on the internet.  ;)

Dont buy anything "superclocked" or any stupid shit like that, it means they did 20 seconds of work for you, for more money. and love of god, buy from newegg... you can assault it with a hammer and theyll accept it back within 30 days.

I got the EVGA GTX 560 Ti 1GB card, with the dual fans. Woo. 10$ MIR brings it down to $220.
