As Christmas looms and some of us ungrateful cunts done got our presents/gifts i guess i can make this early.
BASIC POST RULES

For Christmas this year instead of my Dad getting me something i let him keep his money to use for his self and bought him a pair of shoes. This is all i got myself for Christmas.

Ordered them myself. We all thought my dad was gonna be in the hospital this entire week so we had Christmas early. He got out today lol

Because I got it ordered in the mail but there's no way in hell I'm going to wait till Christmas to use it. Took me hours to put it together lol.

I thought I was rich and got myself expensive things throughout 2014... But this is just over the top.
Took me hours to put it together lol.
Took hours to replace a motherboard and CPU? I remember when I had to replace my motherboard and CPU as well as install an SSD, it only took me a couple of minutes for the hardware, but I was struggling with the software part because my PC didn't boot properly because of the new CPU cooler which had some problems with fan speeds in the BIOS.
Speaking of which, I hope to god you either already had, or included a better CPU cooler with that monster 4790k. Because default CPU cooler = NOPE!
As for my "presents". Me and my bro are alone with christmas this year because our parents are on vacation in Check Republic and we didn't want to come. So we decided to keep it cheap this year and only get each other $50 worth of presents. Sooo I got him Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or whatever the name was, and some steam games. And he got my SSB4 for the Wii-U and some other things.
However, if we were to include shit we got for ourselves throughout the year, I can add some more stuff. (Just to keep this post at least a bit interesting :P)
I'll add some pics later today when I'm home if you want.
