Title: Case Paint Job
Post by: Statua on July 26, 2014, 10:45:46 PM
A friend asked me to give his case a paint job. He wanted a forest green theme. Here's the outcome:

Might be the lighting but man that is NOT mint green. It's labeled moss green actually. I used Tremclad for the black and rust-oleum for the green. No basecoat was needed as I cleared off the finish of the old paint and roughed it up with a 60 grit sandpaper. He wanted the green to be flat but there was no flat green paint of any kind other then some faded green which looked like infected poo. So I used the satin green and added some flatness to it with a 600 grit sheet of sandpaper. It worked alright but there's still a bit of shine.

I did it for a friend for free so he gets what he gets. I even bought that can of paint for him >.>

I'm a bit Jewish when it comes to money tbh. I'd charge my own grandmother for a cuppa
