So it seems like we are in the mood for riddles, so here is a riddle I found a while ago (it is a "who am I" riddle):
When you are trying to see me, you can't.
When you see me, you can't see anything else.
Sometimes I tell the truth, but sometimes I tell a lie.
Who/What am I?
If anyone knows the answer already (saw it before) please don't spoil it.

I would have to agree but you can/have to force darkness and shadows.
I want to say air. Because you can't see it.
But Its seen everywhere.
And you can't tell if something is in it till it's too late

When you're dreaming you can't see anything but. And they can be true or false. But it's not the most fitting of the first one. I mean I guess you don't see them if you're awake and want to dream but what?

Correct, the answer is a dream. Explanation:
You can't dream with your eyes open, so you can't see it. (Yes, there is daydreaming, but that is not regular dreaming.)
You dream while you sleep with eyes closed, can't see anything else.
A dream can be a memory, or something made up.

Well I didn't make this riddle up, I just saw it and remembered. It does make sense though, dunno why you don't understand.

Not sure about the darkness one, but the only thing and comes up to my mind from the others is the gas Helium.
