Title: Share threads
Post by: Sambolinski on January 29, 2014, 05:23:56 PM
Hi all,

I don't know if it's possible but can you make your own threads modifiable by those who you choose. So say the co-owner of an org can make changes to the OP is say the creator is away?

Anyway if it's possible can it be added

Thanks

Its a great idea but not all of our devs are on a volunteer basis. Its up to our financial manager in this case.

Waffle is our CFO, he was removed from his CEO position and replaced with Tomasas. Crap-Head is chairman of the board.

Catalyst should open a stock on NYSE/NASDAQ. Get a product (freelance dev work?), start trading publicly, make all that cash.

He's already stated that that it comes at a price. If waffle wants to fork out money for this addition to the website, he's going to need a lost of advantages and disadvantages to see if its going to be worth the money. I personally see the use, but I don't see the worth if its going to cost money that I think the community could have a better use for.

I just said money as an excuse, the real reason is that I'm lazy. The amount of work to do this is crazy. SMF isn't written to handle permissions like that.

If it's going to be a real assfuck to do, then I can understand your position.  In the end, it's up to you whether or not it gets done.
