Backstory
//The name for the character in the start of the story is different. It’s change is detailed later. The bulk of his pre-life isn’t detailed as he would of had a standard upbringing and detailing an average life isn’t really too interesting or required.

Andrew Thompson would best be described as your typical fan boy geek. He had a nice upbringing in a middle class family, lived in a nice area, had a few likeminded friends but was of course obsessed with one thing… Comics. As a child Andrew loved to read comics with his favourite being V for Vendetta. He loved the idea of a realistic, intelligent figure who could destroy a government to create such anarchy. Andrew would read the comics for hours a day going over every detail and enjoying every moment. As he grew older his obsession became more than just comics, he spent his time outside of work making a V costume and even writing a diary as if he was V himself. He spent countless hours trying to make the costume just right but it wasn’t the best and he knew it. Regardless he continued to spend money on his obsession and was now intent trying to learn how to use daggers like V would.  Andrew went online and bought some custom made rubber daggers, when they arrived he spent most of his free time practicing with them but he was never really happy as he felt what he read was different to what he did. While he was doing this he continued to write his diary, it was written as if he was V himself but in a setting he thought more realistic.
In 2005 however, everything changed for Andrew as the film representation of V for Vendetta was finally released. Andrew became so excited that he now had a film and an actual character which he could base his ‘training’ off. He watched the film over and over spending a lot of money going to the cinema, he tried to take in everything about V from the way he spoke to the way he entered a room and moved. Andrew now stepped up his fan boy antics to a new level, he spent most of his money buying a real V for Vendetta costume from the film. He would practice every day he could trying to not only perfect his knife skills but to also improve his stealth and computer skills. He became so engrossed in his obsession that he started to hate the society he lived in. As he learnt about hacking he began to practice by hacking real software and servers. He never did anything major but liked to think he was ‘destroying society.’ Really though he was just a fan boy on a computer but he still had some decent skills. While he taught himself his V skills he would update his diary putting some basic notes about his training in the back after his ‘real world V’ diary.
After a few years of practicing his fan boy V skills the portal storms began and like his family and friends around him he panicked. Despite his obsession he still knew he wasn’t really V and that he was useless in this time. The city in which Andrew lived became a ‘safe zone.’ The army stormed in setting up perimeters around the city to try and keep the inhabitants safe. This was a scary time for Andrew and his friends and family who now surrounded him but he continued to write in his diary. His diary became the only thing keeping him sane as the world fell around him, he adjusted his story to the world around him trying to keep it ‘realistic’ and keep himself happy. His diary kept him sane and somewhat happy during the portal storms but that all changed on the fateful day of the 7 hour war. When the combine started their assault the city became a prime target as it was a population center. The city was assaulted by all means of attack and Andrew had to watch as the city burned around him. The Army around him was powerless in comparison and as Andrew ran with his family he saw many of the people he had come to know die in horrific ways. Andrew and his family tried to hide in a park, an area they thought would be left alone. But they were wrong, as the combine attacked they set fire to everything from the parks to the tower blocks.  Andrew tried to run to find cover but flames surrounded him. He tried to look around for his family but couldn’t see anything through the smoke and flames around him. Suddenly he saw a burning figure come screaming toward him… it was his father. He watched as his father ran burning toward Andrew then falling to the floor in front of him dead and almost melting from the heat. Andrew was horrified and tried to find a safe place or even anyone else he knew but all he found was the burnt, bubbling corpses of his family, friends and other citizens who thought the park would be safe. After a few minutes Andrew managed to see somewhere he could hide, a cave but his path was blocked by a few trees, all on fire. Seeing nowhere else to go Andrew ran forward running through the fire hoping to be quick enough to not get burned but he was wrong. Andrew easily caught alight and began to burn but he continued to run toward the cave. After a few seconds he reached the cave but he was engulfed in flames, he screamed in pain as he desperately tried to look for water. As he looked around he was a small pond in the cave, he quickly dashed to it falling to it and rolling it. He signed as the flames went out but then screamed as the pain of his burns got to him. He got up running about in confusion and pain but as he did he tripped on one of the many rocks in the cave and fell smacking his head on a rock passing out almost instantly.

Andrew woke slowly after a few hours, he screamed in pain and confusion. He looked to himself screaming once more trying to work out what happened to him. However as hard as he tried he couldn’t remember anything, not even his name. He looked around the cave trying to find anything but he saw nothing but a small object next to a pool of water. Next to the water he found a small book that was burned at the edge but was still readable and intact. He slowly began to read the pages looking for any kind of clue to where he was. He had to stop often due to the pain but by the time he finished he was confused. He looked around to where he was seeing a park outside. He linked the book to him and began to think it was his diary, it seemed to explain his burning, the park and what had happened around him. He picked up the book holding it close as he slowly got up. He went to exit and try to find anyone outside.

//The next bit is the diary extract (In a spoiler) after that the story is written as if he is V. He Isn’t but it is written as if he is.
The Beginning
Not much is known about V before his incarceration. What is known is that he was a convicted criminal incarcerated for having gone ‘too far’ in a protest in England about the social structure and state of the country. However, he has only ever said he “Did not go far enough” but what he did exactly will remain unknown. What he did though was extreme and caused to government to put a media blackout on him to ensure that people did not panic or unrest. Due to the nature of his actions, he was sentenced to a ‘secret trial’ outside the standard laws of the UK. After his secret trial and conviction he was sentenced to life imprisonment in what was only known as “Facility Alpha.”  Facility Alpha was a top secret government facility that worked on protecting the inhabitants of England against attacks using outlawed methods such as chemical and biological warfare. The location of the base was unknown and the experiments inside were just as classified but involved acts against every human rights law set in the world.
V was incarcerated about 6 months prior to the first portal storms. In this time he was subject to large amounts of experimentation that involved being injected with certain diseases and chemicals then being subsequently injected with  various antidotes to find a cure for the public. These experiments caused excruciating pain and would often scar V as the chemicals burned his skin and virus’s caused his insides to deteriorate greatly. After 6 Months V was at his weakest point, after being injected and gassed with hundreds of chemicals he was weak and in constant pain but on his final day in Facility Alpha, this would change forever.

Escape from Facility Alpha
The day started like any other for V. He woke after a couple of hours of sleep screaming in pain as the night terrors and burning woke him once more. As he arose a small hatch on the large metal cell door opened at the bottom. A clunk echoed outside the cell then the scraping of a metal food tray could be heard as a tray with an unidentifiable food goop slide into the cell stopping just in front of the door in the cell. V crawled to it eating what he could as quickly as possible eating every morsel on the tray and floor around him. As he finished he crawled toward a corner of the cell. He scrunched himself into the corner trying to sleep but just a few seconds later a loud clunk could be heard from the door. As the door opened a silhouette of a soldier could be seen, it marched closer then taking V’s arm and dragging him out of the cell. The hallway was cold and clinical like always, the only dirt was the trail left behind V as he was dragged. As V was dragged he let out cries of pain but no one cared, no one ever did. After being dragged for a minute or two, V was dropped in a chair in a clean white room surrounded by tiled walls and a single mirror. As V was tied into the chair another figure entered the room. He wore a biohazard suit with a reflective visor to not show his face and to only show V himself. As the soldier finished tying V down, the scientist in the biohazard suit began to speak…
“You are a survivor five. You have managed to survive six months of this, the board is impressed.  Now according to your file **Looking at a clipboard** it is your birthday not that you would remember. So as a treat, we have a new substance to test on you. It’s called Substance 5, it’s a virus but for one percent of people it won’t kill them but aide their healing process. We have yet to find anyone with that immunity, so you’re the next subject. If your immune, your DNA will hold the key to a cure like no other! So let’s begin.”
As the scientist stopped speaking two more entered the room in the same kind of Biohazard suits as the first man. One of the men stood behind V holding his arms down with the other then going to his left arm holding a needle in his hand. Inside there seemed to be a green liquid. V didn’t really notice any of this as he looked down to the floor. A few seconds later he felt a prick in his arm as the needle was injected into his arm. He didn’t flinch but more set out a small sign of relief as the arm numbed for a second and he had a brief second or lessened pain. However a few moments later he began to violently shake and scream in pain. The scientists loudly sighed as they coldly watched V suffer through their masks. They turned to leave but then suddenly stopped as V seemed to stop shaking and screaming and instead just breathed normally. He did not wheeze or cough but he just sat their breathing. The scientists turned back, they now seemed to perk up and took a genuine interest in V. The main scientist then spoke out “Jackson, untie him. See if he can walk!” One of the men nodded then going to undo the restrains on V. V still just sat there however, breathing normally still keeping his gaze firmly on the floor. The main scientist then spoke “get up in your own time five, just get up and walk for us.” His voice was not so cold but instead he spoke like he was speaking to a child. V remained there for a few moments then suddenly an alarm sounded and the room was suddenly flooded with a red flashing light. The scientists promptly stopped taking interest in V and took notice of the alarm then listening to the PA as it crackled into life
“We have a perimeter breach! All staff to breach stations! Class 6! I repeat Class 6 Breach!” **An unearthly zap and buzz is heard. A scream is heard from the PA announcer then some unearthly screaming and silence**
Suddenly a mass of soldiers is seen moving past the door along with various persons in Hazmat suits. The men with V in the room quickly exit the room leaving the door open in their haste. Suddenly a  loud zap like that on the Pa is heard and a flash of green light fills the hallway outside the door. Some of the soldiers seem to stop and start firing down the hall shouting at each other. A scream is heard from a soldier further down the hall and after a few more shots from the soldiers near V’s room, they scream stops and the soldiers continue to run.
As the chaos erupts V begins to look up and around the room. Something about him seems to have changed, no longer does he shiver from the pain of his injuries and his breathing seems to be more regular. As he looks around he manages to find some strength from within himself, he puts one foot forward off the chair followed by the other. He flinches slightly from a minor pain but he continues to attempt to get up. He pushes himself from the chair then standing up in front of the chair. He stands for a moment in amazement of what he can do but his appreciation of his newfound strength is shattered as the mirror on the wall shatters and an odd human-like creature is seen screaming from the other side. Instinctively V goes to run from the room stumbling as he tries to get his balance. He runs to the hall holding on the wall looking around seeing a large amount of blood then a pile of both human and non-human bodies. He quickly moves toward the body of what seems to have been a soldier. He bends down going to grab some of his kit. He fumbles about trying to take off his vest and helmet. He fumbles about for about a minute as he tries to get control of his hands but eventually manages to get the kit off. He tries to slide into it but is interrupted as a weird green and orange entity forms down the hall from him. V goes to try and grab the gun of the solider but fumbles with it. After a few moments he manages to grab the gun and get some kind of grip with it. He clumsily aims toward the glowing entity but as it vanishes a figure appears from the glow. Out of reaction V pulls the trigger sending a hail of bullets toward the figure.  As he fires the gun uncontrollably flies up spraying the entire hall and roof as the gun shot up. A thud could be heard however as the figure fell down. V dropped the gun as he released the trigger then going to finish putting the vest and helmet on. He picked the gun up again shakily putting a new magazine up. He then slung it on his back taking out the combat knife from the vest he now wore. He then turned and started moving quickly down the hall stumbling as he moved. On his way to exit the base he saw a few men in Hazmat suits, soldiers and a few dead bodies of both human and non-human decent. They didn’t really take notice of V, they didn’t really care at this moment. As V got to the top of the base he looked out seeing utter anarchy. The weird portal things were all around, a mixture of fighter jets and odd, alien craft filled the skies and the early morning darkness was now filled with flashes of red and green as explosions and portals illuminated the area. As V looked around he noticed where the base was. It was in the middle of a city, a convenience really for V as it allowed him to escape straight into an urban environment. As he left the compound no one really bothered or noticed him. They saw someone with a helmet, vest and a gun and in the chaos they didn’t think much of it. V ran from the compound, now remaining stable and even picking up some speed. An alarm sounded through the city he was in and he could see hundreds of people running in one direction. Thinking they had been told where to go V followed them keeping to the shadows somewhat to avoid being an easy target for a bomb. As he followed the people, he came to a central park where a mass of people could be seen. The park was surrounded by huge numbers of armed soldiers who were desperately trying to protect the park and keep it as a safe haven. V threw off his gear at his point then running into the crowds and following them into the park to try and ensure some kind of safety for him…

Surviving
Over the next few years V remained a civilian. No one questioned who he was or why he was there. To everyone there he was just another guy who is trying to survive. The Army had started to put a perimeter around the city and maintain an area where people could stay safe. While trying to keep low he had also managed to get a rather nice wig to cover the burns on his head but alas his face was still heavily scarred. No one ever questioned it but he tried to keep as low as possible to hide his true self. V managed to just blend in, he was waiting for some kind of stability. However he did make a good effort to pick up what art and antiquities he could find so that he could keep them in his new home, a small apartment close to the park. But this was all in vein as on that fateful day when the storms picked up again and the Combine came through, all he had was lost. On that day V was in the park, looking for anything of use when explosions and fighting was heard in the city. V looked around and found a cave, he decided to go inside and try to lay low until the fighting stopped

As V left the cave he couldn’t hear the fighting. He looked around looking for anyone but saw no one. He wandered for a bit then the announcement came that the world was now under the control of this new Combine force. V listened to the announcement and went to the designated rally point, the outer edge of the park. There V saw many citizens and an oddly dressed army. Some of the men took seemingly random people to the side to a special group. Suddenly another group of these soldiers opened fire on the group killing them all… V was horrified at what he saw but remained quiet hoping he wouldn’t be picked out. V was lucky enough to survive and remained in the same city for a few months while the Union was established. He stayed in the same apartment. He now wore the civilian clothing he had been assigned but managed to keep his wig. The Combine didn’t seem to care about his scaring, he could work, that’s all they cared about. After a few months of living in the city he was called to the relocation center. V packed up his bags with some rolled up paintings, clothing and small bits of art then headed to the center. When he reached the booth he was asked for his name, V had no idea what to say for a moment but then remember some trash he saw. A beet can with the John Smith on it. He chose that as his name and was given a formal identification pass with his name and a CID. He was then informed that he would be sent to City 17 for the foreseeable future. He was herded onto a train and was sent to City 17…

City 17
As the train pulled up V was greeted by a mass of propaganda film and depressed citizens. V was sent through the checking barriers, in these barriers there seemed to be some kind of police. They wore gas masks and all black clothing. They searched all of V’s stuff, they questioned the art but let it pass as it posed no threat but they took any of the electronic stuff such as DVD’s claiming it was “Anti-Union.” V was aggravated by this but didn’t fight back, he could see he was hopelessly outgunned and fighting would be pointless at the moment. After a while they did let V pass however and he was assigned to a small apartment in Precinct three. V started to set his life up, he wanted to try and live a straight life but as memories came back to him and he witnessed the violence of the Union he started to turn once more. V could take no more of the atrocities he was witnessing and decided he would do whatever he could to stop the Union.
As the city was still so new he knew that some materials wouldn’t be too hard to come by. Currently the Union had swept for major problems such as armed persons and anything that could directly damage the Union so clothing was still easy to find in some of the old housing. V spent a few weeks searching through old, unused housing trying to find anything of use. He found little for a while but he did manage to find some rather nice clothes in various houses. Knowing these clothes would become contraband he took special care to hide them in his apartment, he pulled up some of the floor boards and used a small space under the floor as his storage. As the weeks passed V only found more basic supplies such as food and clothing but on one particular day he did manage to strike lucky. While searching an old antiques shop for any appreciable art he could take V found a rather nice painting still on the wall. As he went to try and take it V found that behind the wall as affair sized safe. Not knowing anything about how to crack a safe V ponded what to do. He decided to search the shop office trying to find any kind of clue to the combination. After an hour of searching he did in fact find a bit of paper with three sets of numbers on it, it was all he had to he decided to try the numbers on the safe. He tried the first combination to no avail but as he finished the second combination a clunk could be heard as the safe unlocked. V opened the safe and inside he found a few items. The front contained some old paper money, now useless but in the back of the safe there were a variety of books and a rather nice case. The books were some old first edition history books about various different events. V put them into his backpack and then proceeded to take the case. He put it on the table behind him and proceeded to open the case in which he found two old medieval daggers. They seemed to be in good condition and would make a suitable weapon for V to use. He closed the case then putting the case into his backpack. V continued to search for the rest of the day finding only a few more books and a few old films. He took what he could then headed to his apartment where he stored the items he had found that day.
Over the coming weeks V read up on the books that he had found learning about various historical events and even learning some new skills. Although his memory was now mostly restored, V’s old skills were rusty but he knew he could not practice and refine his skills within his apartment. In his travels V had found some old blueprints, he thought nothing of them but one took his attention, an old sewer layout that highlighted an old power room. The room seemed to be split in two. The first room contained some big power generators but the other, connected by a small corridor contained only spare parts and was for storage. This place seemed like a good place to look place to lay low as the small corridor could be used as a concealed entrance. If something was put in front, it could become a hidden hideaway. V packed up what he could and at the dead of night he moved from his apartment through Precinct three and into the sewers ready to find his new home.

//After this the following things would be done IC:
Refining the skills stated previously

You realise this is 'Half-Life 2 Roleplay' not 'V for Vendetta Roleplay'. I don't want to see a near enough exact character from a film be in HL2RP, or we might as well start authorising Batman auths or Voldemort auths.

The reason I picked this kind of character is because of the certain level of realism that can be applied. yes it is based off a movie character but it would not be role-played as such. The character itself would be a lot more realistic and not as Op as the real character. it may be a film character but IC the film would not have been made and no link would be made and significant differences can be made to the character to add more realism.

The character itself is just a person who uses a mixture of stealth, intelligence and combat skills to cause anarchy and free the people of an oppressive government. A mask is sensible for a character and the knives are not only easier to get but also more realistic in terms of the silence that comes with them as a gun will attract attention. The ways he moves are done as to keep the person hidden to both protect themselves but also hide themselves because of the horrors of their past. Other movie characters would yes be unrealistic but this is one that can be changed slightly as to keep it realistic to the roleplay.

at first i thought 'oh, i guess that's fair enough - he's going to base his character off fawkes from v from vendetta, i guess that's ok'

but you directly copied it and changed his name

ples no

The reason it is copied on the backstory side is because it gives him a reason to act the way he does. Also the end of it changes then merges to the HL2 Canon. I didn't want to do a "I was the film and wanted to be him" character but be a character who was in a situation similar to him. Also the name isn't changed, I had to add the John Smith as a cover.

it may be a film character but IC the film would not have been made and no link would be made and significant differences can be made to the character to add more realism. because of the horrors of their past.
Who gets to decide what movie wasn't made or not? We have characters that say MLP and Batman exist, why wouldn't the V for Vendetta comic or movie not exist? As far as I know, the only thing that would not be allowed to exist is Valve, since that would break the canon.
Also, the stylized Guy Fawkes mask wouldn't exist if it weren't for the movie/comic. Sure, Guy Fawkes masks existed, but they didn't look anything like the V for Vendetta mask, and they were made of cheap cardboard.

This first paragraph is almost an exact copy of V's backstory, atleast in the movie. All aspects of him cry that he is an exact clone of him. Even if you don't make him OP, you're still copying a well known character. If naming a character after a famous person or character is against the rules, I don't see why importing that character into the Half Life universe wouldn't be against the rules as well.

As for the actual substance of the backstory, there were many grammar mistakes and it was hard to follow. Also, it hardly mentions his training and how he learned his various skills. Also, the CCA would have searched his bag of paintings and what not when he entered the city, so he wouldn't have them.

He seems completely unrealistic to the canon. I don't support this at all.

No originality. Character seems way too out of place. Cmon man.

The reason I say the film would not be out is because of the dates and the fact that the portal storms would have stopped it's release. That is the only reason and I agree that the comics would be around but that isn't something the character has seen. The mask itself wouldn't be an exact copy of the Guy Fawkes mask and I will be changing it because it wouldn't suit the story.

For the Backstory of V it is one that made sense for the development of the character. I know it is very similar to V's actual backstory but it is not exactly the same at all.

As for the paintings and other art, I did say his stuff was searched when he moved to C17 in the early days and the paper art was passed through though other items were taken. This was in the early times of the HL2 Universe when the Union would have been more concerned with contraband that would cause harm. So the paper art would most likely not be taken because it's not of much importance in comparison to other stuff going on at the time. I can change that if required because the art isn't needed as some would still be in the city but I can't see why some paper art wouldn't be allowed at this moment. In HL2 there is art around still, it hasn't been listed as contraband really.

As for my grammar, I'm human i'm not the best with my grammar. For the training, most of it will be done after through a large amount of RP which would be observed and screenshot and used as evidence to prove the RP is being done as I have ended the story at where he would be now. I didn't mention much of it because he hardly remembers any of it, he is having to self teach a lot using a lot of old, outdated books meaning he will have to work hard using what he can to train himself.

No originality. Character seems way too out of place. Cmon man.
-support from my end.
Not every character is original, the RP I do is what is original. I'm using a real character as a good base to work from. As for being out of place it is a character using disguise, stealth and various other skills and tactics to try and bring down a controlling, unrelenting and evil force. The fact that a cape and mask is used should not remove from the fact that his intentions are realistic enough and the fact that someone wishes to hide their identify and blend into the shadows should not put them out of place. The idea of a costume also enforces the defiance from the Union rules about what to wear and what to do.

its funny but it wouldve been around then, but i still dont like the idea of your character basically being a character from a film. im fairly certain there was a rule or something similar where this wasnt allowed

Sure we can acknowledge that the movie existed ICly but I think the rule is more geared towards characters made to mimic or totally copy characters from said movies.

Must be 100% in-canon. Applications must be realistic and sensible.

Well, it's not in the restriction list.

But, i don't know...the auths are abit...much? I think, but that's just me.

Yeah I agree on that as well, we had Amanda and her dozen auths rappelling and jumping from building to building and that was enough, and she didn't even have weapons.

I retract the film not existing. I can understand the paradox but this character would not have seen the film so his decisions are not influenced by it. others might mention it IF they see the character.

Yeah, how about no. If you want to make this at the very least SOMEWHAT plausible, why not do something like how they did on Doctor Who? Christmas Special of Season 4 where the Doctor went to Medieval England during Christmas and there was a man who believed he was the Doctor and had all his knowledge and what not due to him having a horribly traumatic experience of watching his son being kidnapped and wife killed and basically went momentarily insane and got amnesia; the blanks of his life filled by the recordings of the Doctors life/experiences due to the projection he watched.

Basically, try and rewrite your back story and if you REALLY wanna be V so badly, have you character watch the film and go through a horrible experience during the Seven Hour war or something so that he THINKS he's Guy Fawks but is actually some lunatic who is messed up in the head. That way you even get a nice little defect out of it, being mentally unfit and if you were to ever be caught, you'd pretty much be a kill on capture for the UU.

Not to mention this option would give you MUCH better RP options as you would be susceptible to mental and emotional breakdowns and there's always the chance of figuring out that the life you live of "V" is actually a lie and if you were to find out about your past, you could go on a suicidal rampage from being so distraught about figuring you lived a lie.

This is a brilliant idea. I will speak to you in steam about something then work on changing this.

I would support Sexy's revision of the auth as long as Mat doesn't go on a killing spree beyond reason, which I have no reason to think he would.

UPDATED

I have updated the application to make more sense.

After reading this application, I still don't understand why you wanted the model I used for Onyx back in City Forty Five, lol.

The all black Onyx model was the only one I knew that suited the all black costume of V.

'to raise anarchy and free the people from an oppressive government'
I can understand the knives and outfit but I dont agree with computer hacking, hook and stealth as it makes your char a bit op
Hi i am a h2h expert who can hack computer and swing myself across the city without anyone noticing

The hacking is only on a human PC level. So he would have no idea about the combine system. Also it would fit the V character he is trying to imitate as he was a hacket if you read into it.

The stealth is a case of he needs to know how to remain undetected and move silently as he can't just walk about the streets. The hooks etc are part of that as like another character on city, getting around on the roofs and such is the best way to stay hidden and keep a watch. the whole idea is that no one see's or notices him when he is just looking about. Why would you want a character like this in public view?

How do you rp a char who no one will see but whom you choose
room for elitism

There are already characters much like this. And the whole point is not to cause elitism but to remain secret. Why would it be elitist to keep hidden? Its someone dressed as a clear AC. They don't want to be seen unless they must show themselves. The current character like this isn't elitist at all.

Because you're going to only show yourself to important ppl is terms of resistance

Please don't presume what I would do. I would interest with a variety of characters and I would be seen as you can't create anarchy and never be seen.

Please put in the top section that your authing for blueprints of the hidden base in the sewers. It seems like you kinda just snuck it in at the end so nobody would notice.

 "lol elitism"

Go and blame that to the Sectorial Commander who has immediate augmentations to increase strength and can still manveur correctly after getting blown up by a grenade.

please deny this until his application is properly fixed and not just a ripoff of a tv show and please dont give him the blackops ninja assassin daniel slatard model please otherwise i will develop cancer and die

also jesus christ what's with people applying for shit like 'stealth skills'? if i can see your character then i can see your fucking character, don't tell me i can't because you can ~blend with the shadows~

In HL2RP, true stealth is most commonly blending with crowds. Not shadow diving in the hopes people walk away.

Will be in another app after this IF it is accepted.

Care to actually explain what isn't fixed? The new update to it is MEANT to make him a film character but he WILL return to his normal state but will go mad as he finds out the truth

To answer you AND raged. I'm not saying just because he has auth's you cant ever see him. it would just allow me to keep in the shadows as the character would. It is true that some stealth is hiding in plain sight but when you are burned like fuck out of a mask and have a clearly AC costume when your wearing usual clothes and cant find anything to blend in, the shadows are the best place to be. This kind of stealth and keeping to the shadows also links with the character V that this character is imitating.

Having a character that's heavily based on a movie character can be okay, but this, is not.
Here are my points I want you to answer, I doubt the application in it's current state can be accepted at all though.¨

Quote
"As the city was still so new he knew that some materials wouldn’t be too hard to come by. Currently the Union had swept for major problems such as armed persons and anything that could directly damage the Union so clothing was still easy to find in some of the old housing."
The city would most likely be searched and cleaned thorough before any citizens were let in.

Quote
"He would practice every day he could trying to not only perfect his knife skills but to also improve his stealth and computer skills. He became so engrossed in his obsession that he started to hate the society he lived in. As he learnt about hacking he began to practice by hacking real software and servers. He never did anything major but liked to think he was ‘destroying society.’ Really though he was just a fan boy on a computer but he still had some decent skills."
That right there is nonsense. Computer skills? Yeah, start Microsoft Word and print a document. Hacking skills? No. Prove that you have a slightest knowledge how to hack networks/computers and there can be a little chance that you get this. You will need to place a lot of more detail on what skills he has, not just "he learned all the hacking skills by himself."

Quote
"He decided to search the shop office trying to find any kind of clue to the combination. After an hour of searching he did in fact find a bit of paper with three sets of numbers on it, it was all he had to he decided to try the numbers on the safe. He tried the first combination to no avail but as he finished the second combination a clunk could be heard as the safe unlocked."
Safes are not as easy to unlock. Assuming it's a combination safe you were talking about, those safes have those wheels you use to select the number and to eventually enter the combination. But, every safe has it's own method of entering the numbers - like, you must turn the wheel clockwise while entering the first number, then counter-clockwise, clockwise again, and so on. It's not as easy as you think, you can't just "enter the combination".

There is no detail on how did he learn to use knives, there is no detail on what exactly can the character do with knives.
There is no detail on how did he learn to "stealth" himself, except than "watching a movie". Most stuff in movies is usually stupid and unusable IRL.
Same goes for the hand-to-hand skills, assuming from the application he was a sociopath-alike person and barely interacted with others, meaning he couldn't really participate in any (practice) fights and learn anything.

edit: I don't want you to become a hacker to get this auth, but you should at least know some very little basics if you want your character to be a hacker.

Based on what people have already said and the fact that you yourself said you don't expect this to be accepted, I'm going to deny it. If you want to apply for something similar again, try to add all of the detail needed for it with the original post. Something as serious as this requires a really large back story.
