Uhm theres bigger communities out there

Each time we get another 10k theres Always a topic about it its the Halfway mark to 100,000 but they are mostly Inactive.

I already knew this community will treat this thread as CG being dead. If you're that concerned you can just take the time to remove inactive players.

The fact that we've had 40,000 people join our servers, even if it's just once, is an achievement in its self. Grats to CG for lasting this long.

CG has done amazing when you think about the original owners of the OCRP gamemode had 18,000 when they died after a year they have done very well but there are communities bigger.
Sassilization = 130,000 members but they have been around longer than Pulsar effect in the day but theres nothing to keep you there cause its the same shit.
Twoscore = 67,373 been around for not long
Hate to think what JokerIce have but all in all these are long lasting communities which CG will be one day.

Being here from the start and seeing it progress so well is great. CG has done very well for itself and it is all down to the hard work that people have put into playing it and working on it and upholding it.
Congratulations everyone, now bring on the 50k!

I missed the start, but I've been here from when OC died like many others, which is well over a year ago. So I've still seen most of CG grow over the past year which is a really nice experience.

I remember when CG only had ~17k players. I was a noob in those days :P

I was the 6931 member at CG, back in August 2011, to see it from the amount of members then for me to now is nice. HRP has been a big contributing factor to the total member count growth now since Gmod13 came out, otherwise it was mainly OCRP and HL2RP City before the Gmod update.

I remember when it was pretty small, it's grew pretty fast over the past two years, and will continue to by the looks of growth and it's stayed alive which is hard to do nowadays.

Been in quite a few communities over my time gaming, and although they've lasted this long, I can't say they ever got this big. Congrats.

#501 here, I registered on April 2nd, 2011 after playing on the server for a week or so prior... As much as I get annoyed with bits of CG's roleplay stuff, I'm really glad to have been a part of the community. We've had some great fun.

No other communities has to force players of creating a profile before playing in the server.

#46 here. CG sure is resilient.
I was playing here since early 2010, when it was Skill Gaming. Joined CG when it came out, went inactive for a few weeks, during which accounts were wiped. Remade my account November/December 2010 and I've been at CG ever since, serving as an administrator several times. So...many...memories.

The number on mine is 1009191... So I joined when there were 1009191 players? But there are only 42,524 members registered... I'm confused now.
Anyways, I haven't been on CG too long, only around 6 months, but I've been with it long enough to know it's a great community, even though it's not the biggest.

Joined December 2011 when i was new to hl2rp I go inactive then active depends if i'm feeling like roleplaying. But anyways it feels like i can't go on any other hl2rp server.

To answer the question about members with IDs that are >1000000:
There was a database issue about a year ago it seems that caused the auto_increment value on the table to get set to that, there was no fixing easily and it wasn't causing problems, so we left it.
