Since it's the new year and all, the year ingame should advance to 2017. It would make the server feel a bit more dynamic. Just a suggesstion.

In game time varies, however, currently, I believe it is mid-summer.

From last I saw, outlands was in 2017, and city was in 2016.

I don't think it would really matter if the city's year changed.
