Title: Stuck at "Please wait while server config is being retrived"

The title says it all, I can connect but it is stuck at "Please wait while server config is being retrived" I can still hear the ambient noise and other noise, but it will not proceed. Is it a server side issue or is it something on my part? Any advice is appreciated.

Try verifying Garry's Mod, otherwise delete clientregistry.blob from your main Steam folder and that might do the trick. If it still doesn't work...you might need to delete everything in the Garrysmod folder except maps, models, materials and addons.

This is serverside and has nothing todo with your garry's mod client.
