Title: I've been thinking about this...
Post by: Heavy on December 24, 2011, 02:41:45 PM
Shouldn't non-UU clothing be a form of contraband? I thought I'd bring this up since while playing the city server I've seen a lot of people with a 'hoodie' or other types of clothing that wasn't supplied. Shouldn't anyone not wearing a citizen jumpsuit (Regular blue-jean type jumpsuit) be persecuted by the Civil Protection?

Just have been wondering about this, and decided to make a thread about it.

Non-UU Clothing such as modified jumpsuits, hoodies, trousers are known as contraband. You'll need a authorization from a unit in order to wear those items.

Any piece of clothing besides the UU jumpsuit or the CWU jumpsuit are non-UU and are considered contraband and you can be detained.

I think what he means is the people that go round wit "UU fedora and sunglasses" leaving us helpless because when we try to detain them for contra they make a shitstorm like "OMG ITS UU BRANDED U NOOB OMG LEAVE OMG." and quite frankly. It pisses me off.
I agree. ALL UU clothing would be jumpsuits and a raincoat. That is all.

Thought this was common knowledge. Detainment though? I guess beggars can't be choosers :(
