The alliance is not official, nor is this. Some people like to be more organised though.

Indeed, this group is not official, perhaps in time, but as of now, no.

I think you join this group ICly, like most other groups.

There are no official groups any more. Also, there will be no more resistance vests generated. And, you cannot take a resistance vest off a PK'd member. Just finished chatting with the waffle.

That's ridiculous, what's the mighty waffle's reasoning?

Not sure. I'm no admin though so I wont question him. He's the boss.

Well:

Firstly: This group is aimed at for more experienced role-players, those who actually enjoy participating in passive role-play, if you wish to join this group, you may want to contact a member In-Character (ICly) or the leader himself (me). This group is not official, but, if in-time Rofl wishes for there to be an official group, i'd hope he would consider this one.

Secondly: With all due respect Statua, other than Skyler whom i have role-played with ICly, most of the other current vest-holders are...arrogant, they will not role-play with those who do not have a vest. Perhaps they think due to the fact they have 'webbing' on their model or 'camoflauge' they are better or more advanced then other members. Vests are a symbol, an icon if you will, not an item to show an 'ego' or 'ability'. If vests were given to us, it would be mainly to symbolise us as hope, it would show us as a group or a person whom is wearing a vest is able to assist them, in all ways. TLM was not made to have 24/7 mugging and S2K' matches with the Combine Civil Authority? I made this group, so that people would be able to seek out assistance and passive role-play, and know there are people to distribute it, when we do have a confrontation with the UU/OTA/CCA, it is not to gain 'weaponary' or show our superiority, it is to start passive role-play, and enhance a current environment. If vests were given to us, it would be for the main purpose of telling a TLM member, from a refugee, distinguishing someone who can help you, take care of you, feed you, role-play with you from someone who cannot.

I hope to see you all on the Outlands server, passiving.

It seems vests give people super e-Boners on every HL2RP server I've been on. Hopefully the trend starts to die.

I try not to be arrogant but people gotta learn that people moving around in and out of my headquarters attracts attention. They also gotta learn that we have rules on moving through canals without being spotted by overwatch and they don't know those rules. They also gotta learn that by following us, they won't be getting any items/ammo from us.

Indeed, that is another main issue, people hoppin' on Outlands for the sole purpose of weaponary and ammunition, although, these people you may not role-play with, but at times your..band can sometimes judge the wrong people.

If a group of people give vests a bad name and elitism, they should not be restricted, and banned from every other player in this Half-Life 2 Role-Play, it should just be restricted from use, from the people who gave it a bad name in the first place.

Why punish the whole classroom for the disrespectful student? Why not punish the disrespectful student, and reward the behaved and well-mannered students?

That would make sense, but for my entire schooling career it's been punish the the entire class.

Although I see where you're coming from.
