Only a delay, but it's still good news.

Until the vote, the censor bar stays.

Plus I just had an idea for it.

Oh I totally agree with the censor bar, I'm trying to get a few other websites I go to to put it up.

Has anybody here read the actual bill? Can somebody point me what they're so afraid of and where it is in it, because I can't find anything bad.

Thats because they word it very nicely.

The bill would essentially give hollywood the control to block any website they deem in offense of copyright. Youtube, with all it's videos, is a huge offender.

It has to be in there, even if it's worded "nicely." Where is it?

IN GENERAL.—A service provider
22 shall take technically feasible and reason-
23 able measures designed to prevent access
24 by its subscribers located within the
25 United States to the foreign infringing site
1 (or portion thereof) that is subject to the
2 order, including measures designed to pre-
3 vent the domain name of the foreign in-
4 fringing site (or portion thereof) from re-
5 solving to that domain name’s Internet
6 Protocol address. Such actions shall be
7 taken as expeditiously as possible, but in
8 any case within 5 days after being served
9 with a copy of the order, or within such

I don't agree with the bill, I hope the republicans of the house do not pass it.  :hopeful:

I'm a republican and I don't agree with the current republicans in office :(

I am also a Republican and I myself do not agree with some of the things that republicans are doing. There has been a big downfall in political structure this year and probably much more.

I think it's funny that the U.S. told China and Iran it was wrong to censor internet and now there's a possibility it might happen here.
