is there a reason you cannot punch anyone? or are you just supposed to roleplay your actions such as /me punches officer 893 knocking him unconscious, but he regains consciousness quickly

To an extent. Saying that it DOES knock him unconscious is power-gaming. The term power-gaming means that you are forcing other actions or effects onto players. And please, if you have all these questions put them in one post. It's considered post whoring.

In better english, it was disabled due to citizens mass-punchwhoring a CCA unit with no RP and taking their guns and such.
You had the privilege once, you abused it, you lose it. That's how it goes in SRS RP.

Ya, seeing a bunch of citizens rushing a CCA and pushing him till hes dead isn't much rp.

I have seen it happen on another server with an "insta-gang" of four or five trolls gang up on CPs with fists and start a lulrebellion, giving citizens guns and ammunition while meanwhile in admin land: http://z0r.de/3197
The server I saw this happen on closed a month later, I cannot recall its name.
